Losi provides better remote (DX3), compared to Arrmas at same price range. Losi easier to work on + Aluminum chassis. Plus the way a losi handles is so smooth, not even kidding! Losi DB Pro is my favorite RC ( 2 Years now ). Even the Servo still going, which is surprising. Just get it man, and thank me later

You won't be disappointed. If you ever blow a diff just get the Losi TEN diff gears and cup instead, it will solve the problem.

Love mine...I order extra parts off jennysrc all the time, I'm a hoarder of RC parts, but at thier prices, can't beat it, long as you can get them. The DB Pro is my favorite RC for sure. The handling is epic and smooth.

not a fan that it broke a shock shaft within 5 or 10 mins of running and not even a hard bash session, Losi has built plenty of styles of RCs and have the data for what is needed to keep parts from breaking, very small diameter shaft for the length of them. everyone keeps saying "Losi Quality is there" , I think that is being overstated a bit, so far I have seen the bodies are a pain to set on, wiring being in the way of rear body mounting, the split section separates and doesnt click back together well, the under body location of pins is not well thought out, (I understand somethings needed to be positioned in certain ways to maintain the "scale" appearance), the rear diff case is 3 piece which I have seen water getting in. I am not saying Losi does not make a quality product, I am merely saying I think it is being a bit overstated

For a 3S style rc it’s strong way less abuse and a traxxas slash would have broke as well slamming into the rocks causes damages well before the jumps caused an issue & the shock shaft didn’t break ? Next video will show what happened to the shock 👌👍👍

Still stock servo forget about it , surprised you got this far , lmt eats servos for lunch ..I beileive high end servo will last but still will go eventually if you use it alot .. bc horizon changed to 23t I'd use all the rtr servos as I replaced on rtr bashers . Now with better savor you can get by with Amazon servo 5 to 10 batteries

Great update Earl! Added background and comparison did help. I agree, you never said it wasn't worth it. LOSI quality is definitely there. With so many choices out there, and new products arriving weekly, niche products like the RZR become a tough sell. For me, it's just not my style and the price point helps me walk away. We also benefit by reviews like yours so we can figure that out easier than just looking at a shiny new vehicle in a box and wondering.....

I love my DB Pro, had it 2 years now. Solid machine! The DX3 is wat better than SLT3. Even the Servo is still going! The ease of working on it is priceless. I only suggest adding a 4S motor, and run 90% of the time on 75% throttle. I have 0 regrets buying the DB Pro, even debating buying a 2nd one. Losi provides Quality, which imo makes it worth it.

You bought the wrong Losi models man. The DB Pro is epic, had 2 years now @ Stock and still LOVE it. Have a 4S motor been debating putting in, and a new Savox Servo. They ready when need it. I do track, no skatepark or hard bashing

I sure was surprised to see that shock shaft break. Horizon had the LMT on sale maybe a month back so I grabbed the GD. Spot on about the cost of Losi parts. Keep up the good work Eman

Same here, not too long ago a local hobbyshop had the LMT at discount for almost 200 euro off the normal price. Might pick up the RZR when it's discounted at that rate otherwise it's not worth it for me.

Earl Happy Sunday! Did you ever get the Losi Lasernut? It looks pretty cool it was on sale not long ago on Horizon Hobby but you need lots of upgrades to make it durable according to Exocaged, that may have changed with the latest versions as they reinforced the LMT axles after first release

The price of the Losi products is too high, especially when they WILL discontinue the product, but not only will they discontinue models, they tend to discontinue parts support for that model. I always liked the looks and quality of losi stuff, but for long term support, nope! You can't get parts for a Losi that's 4 years old. Yet still get parts for a Traxxas that's 30 years old!

I have always looks at it like this. Scale/Crawler (Axial) , Scale/Light Bash (Losi), Bash/Send (Arrma)

With Losi it's all the little things that you might not see that add up in cost cause parts are that much better to an extent. It all adds up in the end. No leaking shocks no blown out bearings or gears just overall better quality . . . Fun haver to an extent.

Earl, on the DB Pro, what I did to fix the battery problem, if you get another set of the front and rear battery posts, they stack on top of each other so you can easily slip in the larger batteries. I can no fit a 6000 or 9000 mah 4s battery back in there. I don’t put that big of a 4S in there to keep the weight down. If you want a pic or something let me know

Holy shit 4s in the DBpro? Surely not on stock electronics? How do you keep it cool? I put two protek aluminum HV fans and a heatsink on mine and it still gets pretty hot on 3s after moderate running on pavement and even the shortest grass gets it HOT…. It’d probably be fine on loose dirt but the whole system seems like it runs warm

I did get the LMT when it was $599. I got my DB Pro at $429. I can say i wont be getting the RZR as I'm not a fan of it. I have the Rock Rey which is one of the 1/10 Rey platform i would get, the other is the Baja Rey.

Losi DB Pro, designed as a Track RC, not a jump and bash rc. If into track environment, can't beat it! Designed to stay planted, a traction machine.

This rig was definitely worth it for $429.99 during Covid. $500 now, meh just get an Arrma Typhon 6s it is the exact same price right now, $500.00. I have a fully modified Tenacity DB Pro with upgrade Losi-TEN diffs and quite a bit of Vitavon and Basherqueen. It handles unbelievably well, it actually can take turns and out handles almost every RTR out there.

Losi makes some cool scale bashers but I think the DBpro is the most durable rc they make, LMT is pretty tough too. Their big trucks are more fragile but look realistic, same goes with the Rzr.

Redcat in my area is almost impossible to get parts for. When at track never see one. Consider parts replacement, that's huge in RC.

It is more similar to the Polaris Turbo R which has a shorter wheelbase than the Pro R. Look for the cues in the shape of the cage as well as spacing between the body and rear wheels when comparing. So I stand by Hemistorm's calculations for scale: Turbo R WB 96"/14.3= 6.7 Pro R WB 104.5/14.3= 7.3 so either one you compare to, it's still closest to 1/7 scale. Can't argue with the math. Maybe you can.

It’s recorded in 1080 as the video stays up your internet speed will adjust to the video and I’ve seen KZbin will adjust the video quality as the videos up awhile idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ why your having issue but my GoPro recommended in 1080 and set to the highest KZbin will allow 🤷🏻‍♂️

Broke, on your video 17:00. You were bashing it a little bit, not much. Mine broke too! 15 mph rolled on flat ground, broke the same side like yours. Drivers side front. Wasn’t abusing it at all, only on flat ground. Shock is fine but the plastic knuckle stripped. $26 waiting for part from horizon. Hope it doesn’t do this often, or get better shocks. That’s the downside to buying ready-to-roll rigs. There’s usually a few cheap parts sneaked in. I think I found the first cheap part. Time for some upgrades.

Rzr and superglue fixed it, so far…but the shocks are kinda flimsy. Buddy’s are stronger and bigger diameter, out comes wallet, insert card.🤭

Whatever servo you use the LMT will kill just better ones last longer , changing the savor is a must , adjustable HR pretty good . For a while I'd use the rtr ones from New rcs and they last one two packs , with better savor 25t , stock 23t need spectrum. Amazon servos 5 to 10 packs . I like lmt alot , actually last very long time as they make good diffs BUT SERVOS work really hard take alot shock .

The only thing about them getting rid of everything is that parts availability they legit just throw a hole truck out with a crazy price then when it doesn’t sell now they remove it off the market that Polaris ain’t worth 600$ let alone 450$ the only truck I would spend 600$ or even close to is probably the traxxas sledge or the kraton 6s 4s

When you ready for quality, and a RC that handles smooth, and ease to work on let Losi know, they will be thier. Arrma is cheaper than Losi, yes, but wonder why? Traxxas oh please, those are so KID oriented, so unreliable, plus battery connection is garbage. When you put your big boy pants on, and can widen your wallet a little more, get the Losi.

@@earlmoorhead5555 i got an arrma nero in great shape for 340$ that thing has been discontinued for 7 years now. U can still get 90% of the parts trough horizonhobby and arrma. The nero line of trucks resells around 500-800$ Depending on the condition. The original retail price was 599$ i believe. I tore down mine to bits fixed the body stickers and serviced everything. 20-30$ in damage. modified the suspension to gain 1-2cm of ground travel. Waiting for spring to finally run this piece of arrma’s history. I doubt the discontinued losi trucks would resell more than their retail price even a decade from now
