Really liked all the tones in this video, everything sounded so clear! The 20db boost was awesome too.

That thing looks like a guitar made of ice. Very nice job by EB. I can't tell whether this sounds better than your other guitars because everything you play sounds amazing.

Great sounds as always! And I love those dragged under riffs man! And sometimes we even get to see you playing some of the new songs so we can tab them out :D Sometimes I wonder if you actually mix in some new riffs of unreleased songs we just dont know jet 🤔

That's a really nice Sabre! I was close to getting the Cobra burst but ending up getting the JR Cutlass in Majora purple. Such awesome guitars! The new HT pickups sound good!

My majesty 7 has the boost function. It's crazy when you are playing clean or through very slight overdrive like my Ceriatone centura. I wouldn't recommend using it to boost an already boosted distortion though. Not unless you happen to like ear splitting and uncontrollable feedback regardless of a noise gate!

I wonder if it’s possible to dial certain amps to be clean with the boost off, and then pushed it over drive with the boost on. Is 20db enough to do that??
@therewasascene2 жыл бұрын
Cool sound. It has a unique growl and overwound sound but with extra bite/clarity. Works with all levels of gain, sounds like it would sit super well in s mix. Idk if it’s my personal sound, but the applications seem…numerous. Studioboiz!

I know my comment is off topic to this video But why do bands avoid “brain rigs” and lean more toward separate rigs that all plug into a IEM rig? For instance, my band has an all in 1 brain rig with axfx and power amps and IEM all in 1 rig. I rarely see brain rigs for how “easy” or “convenient” they are or they seem to be anyway.

I'm really geeked on the model overall, but the fretboard radius is just a bit too round for me :(
@spoonerluv2 жыл бұрын
@Shaun Ashley It's all a preference at the end of the day. Just because it works for you or a million other people doesn't mean it's for everyone. For me, the 10" radius just isn't my jam, and surely I'm not going to spend $3600 on a guitar with a spec I can't jive with.

Great stuff! Question: I thought I seen a video of (Fluff) showing how he would use (Sub Destroyer) by Joey Sturgis tones... Was I wrong on that? could have been someone else.. Id really like to find that! (If it was him) very good video.. anyway, CHEERS!

@@RiffsAndBeards ah! I knew it!.. but that's a downer.. it was the most thorough out of everything I've seen.. Let me ask you.. (because I forgot) did you crossover the bass.. say bass until 50hz then sub destroyer 50hz on... Or just slap the sub destroyer on another track with a secondary but same bass part? Just curious.. thanks for getting back to me dude!

Cool guitar, probably plays well, but I’m not falling for the word magic. Those pickups don’t do anything a regular-old set of Seymour Duncans wouldn’t be able to, and I’m not hearing any difference between this guitar and the others Fluff has used. Only thing different is that it has a boost circuit, but any guitar could be modded with a dB boost.

@ThorsShadow2 жыл бұрын
Not really. Neither the distortion nor the clean sound show us how these pickups really sound. Reason being, we don't know the amp settings. This pickup could be very bassy, but the amp's bass could be turned all the way down. I personally think new pickups should always be compared to other pickups in videos like this. Compare them to well-known pickups. Seymour Duncan JB, Distortion, Nazgul, Blackout; EMG 81, 85, 60, Fishman Fluence Modern, Classic, Tosin Abasi, Dimarzio X2N or Petrucci's signature pickup(s) etc. EDIT: Not trying to shit on Fluff here btw. Love the guy. It's just a general thing I feel about new pickups being demoed.

@@Ottophil Foods that are cold are perceived less flavorful than room temp/warm/hot foods due to how taste buds' microscopic channels work. That being said, if you put cold hot sauce onto/into a food that is warm/hot, it probably won't stay very cold for long anyway lol.
