If they’re attending an emergency incident it’ll be because they didn’t have an EFAD driver booked on.

A fire appliance cannot go on the run without an EFAD driver. They are turning out to standby at another station, which they do not drive under emergency conditions for.

@ Norfolk put pumps on the run without a driver having blues all the time. By EFAD I meant the blue light course.

@ that’s not correct at all. A fire appliance cannot be available to respond to an emergency without an EFAD driver. National response times and standards dictate that.
