Hey brother, I got the same problem 2 years ago. I wasted my whole year, going to apple care multiple times (to be precise 16 times in a year). Its technically manufacturing fault but apple so called geniuses will not accept that. I also sent mine to USA for this problem, they changed my clamshell (display assembly) but the problem was still there. So now it disappeared after 1.5 years on its own. My Suggesion: Go to apple care/store, show him the video and tell him to disassemble the clamshell of MacBook and reassemble it. If the problem is still there, change your display assembly. Do these things only when you have you MacBook in warranty, if not don't even thought about this. You can by new one in it's repair cost.

This is a hinge problem which is very common in macbooks you can watch video in youtube to get solutions. Solution is to open/close it by only using 2 hands.

I have heard that Apple charges a lot fir the insurance and that is not worth it because you don't have that much problem with the device so at the end the money is wasted and goes in their pocket.
