New to your channel. I appreciate the review. I picked this up and wore it for about 10 hours Mowed the lawn and it stayed looking fresh all day. I do have dryer skin, though, so that may be the difference. I didn’t notice any caking and it didn’t transfer onto my mask. Love your eyeshadow looks in this video!

Thanks for another detailed review! I had originally thought that this was a rebrand of the Make Up For Ever Water Blend Face And Body Foundation - it's one of my favourites! But it looks like this is a new release although they look similar and have similar claims. I think this product has green tea in it? Perhaps that could be that scent you're experiencing? In my experience with the Water Blend foundation, it works best if you're going for a close to zero coverage look. It doesn't necessarily work well over texture if you apply a generous layer or layer it up to get better coverage. It stays smooth and poreless in a thin layer, but then you also have to sacrifice coverage. I think it also works best without a primer at all - it sort of forms a film over bare skin and sets to a flexible waterproof/transferproof layer. I also think it's labelled for dry/normal skin because any oiliness breaks it up - I guess a foundation can't be waterproof and oilproof at the same time. Definitely not for everyone, as it seems. I'd agree that you've tried a ton of bade products lately that have looked INCREDIBLE on you, and some of them have been at a really low price point too! So to have to fiddle around with this product that isn't reliant on your skin just isn't worth the trouble. Your smokey eyeshadow with the gold inner corner on the second day wear test looks so lovely on you! I think you have the prettiest eyes, that colour combo really makes them pop! And also, thanks so much for describing your skin in detail at the beginning of your video. It really helps us to know if we are similar and might have similar experiences with the foundation, or helps us know if we are the opposite. It's much more helpful to hear about your concerns and skintype to go along with the actual review and wear test than it is to get zero background on the person that is testing the product. I still can't believe you are 39! You look amazing! Again, thanks for your detailed review. I think I'm going to pick this foundation up to try and compare it to my Aqua Blend because I know I really enjoy that one. Have a fantastic week! ☺️

You are so right about layering this foundation. I think that’s likely what attributed to the issues I experienced with it. I used the Milani Gilded Getaway palette for Day 2. I have another foundation review coming up probably this weekend! It’s a cream foundation that I think might be an alternative for the KVD Apple Skin Balm one. I’ll be anxious to read hear your thoughts on it! I always enjoy reading your comments!! 🥰🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've tried their aqua blend a while back and I really like it. This is nice though upon application. I have the same shade on MUFE Y225 or 235 sometimes

Great review Steff 💕, honestly I never try any foundation from this brand I got long time ago a sample for the ultra HD coverage foundation and was so thick and didn’t blend nicely after that I never feel attracted to try another from this brand, I was curious about this foundation, I’m glad I didn’t got it , thank you so much for sharing your thoughts 👌💕🌹

Hi i love your eyeshadow looks really good on you!! Do you ever wear full coverage foundation when it is hot and so yes what do you wear?My foundation always looks very greasy on my nose when it's warmer and blotting doesn t help .xx

Absolutely I do!! I just make sure to powder down and touch up during the day. Also, use a good setting spray like UD All Nighter or Matte.

Hi Steff, the Tarte primer you used is a silicone based, whereas the foundation is water based. There was no way these two were going to gel together. Also, the Hangover primer is very hydrating - not the best for a hydrating foundation, especially for oily areas of the face. Maybe using a mattifying primer in your oily areas would be a success? Other than that, perhaps it could be used as a mixer use with overly matt foundations 🤷‍♀️ Got to say, your eye makeup on both days were bomb! Gorgeous 🌸🦋🌸

I got this sent to me thru influenster and I actually liked it! I really love makeup forever tho! They’re base products tend to always work for me. This reminds me of reboot but reboot has more coverage. I liked it tho, for no makeup makeup days! Edit- I should mention I have very dry skin. An I’m 35. It sat super well on my normal-to very dry in spots skin.

Hey Steff, you look really pretty and I love your nail color. The coverage is nice. It is Summer for us in South Florida too. You are pretty shiny for just 5 hours on day 1. Love the eye look on Day 2. I love IG shorts too. What do you use to make them? Too bad it is getting cakey quick and settling. It did rub off on your nose but I do tend to expect that with masks even though it said it shouldn't. I will have to pass on this one and I appreciate your honest review. FW and have a great day.

Jackie, I just started using Final Cut Pro for the shorts, but still haven’t gotten too comfy with it yet for my regular YT videos. I will soon though. For now iMovie is what I use for everything else.

I keep the zoom the same on the camera. If I’m doing an IG Reel it allows to zoom in to make it full screen. I don’t always do that though because it doesn’t always look right. Final Cut Pro has a feature that allows you to edit vertical videos which is what we need for Reels and Shorts and TikTok too.

I thought so too. I actually couldn't see the issues with this product until you pointed it out. Like the cakeiness around your nose for instance. Can you please tell me what eye liner you're using on day 1? It stayed on your waterline longer than I've seen a liner do, lol. At least on me... 🤷‍♀️
