That warning is because of the sunscreen(alcohol is in most moisturizer/ sunscreen to help dry down time). I bet if you looked at your setting sprays that would also have a warning.(due alcohol being added)

@Kevan Brose usually most lotion/sunscreen have alcohol in the so they dry down quickly so they aren't gross feeling on the skin. Same goes with setting sprays with alcohol plus it's supposed to add lasting power.

Yea, I came to comment this exact same thing. I mean unless you plan on having an open flame near your face when you are applying it, there is absolutely no danger involved. I mean an open flame by your face would be the dangerous part anyway. There are so many makeup products that would be flammable, but we don't apply makeup around a fire so it is no problem.

I'm confused now. In your comment you said it's because of the sunscreen, underneath you mention the ethanol in it. I was thinking it should be the ethanol in it. But what about the sunscreen being the reason for that? I hope it's understandable why I'm confused.

@@MiepMiepRoadRunner I'm sorry you got confused it is a little unclear in my post especially if you aren't familiar with ingredients. Anything that is a sunscreen/ moisturizer also has alcohol to make it dry down quicker and absorb into the skin. Not all of them but most do. That goes with setting sprays as well. That's why I have a hard time finding ones that are alcohol free ( it irritates me skin).

I am familiar with ingredients, it's my job to be exact. 😅 which is why I got even more confused since I haven't heard of a sun screen that could be flammable. As in the screen itself. The supportive, protective & carrier substances on the other hand can be. I had thought it was the actual sunscreen itself, not just the dilution solvent.

😂 You're so charming. It's the denatured alcohol used in the formula as a solvent for other ingredients and to allow it to dry down down a bit. When it evaporates, you will not need to be alarmed. I don't know if they have to put the warning on the tube based on the percentage included, though. It's funny; I couldn't wear L'Oreal Pro Glow because of the amount of alcohol in it irritating my skin. But I've been wearing this Urban Cover three days in a row now and so far, so good. We shall see! (EDIT FOR SILLY AUTOCORRECT 😣)

@@glam_by_lydia8995 dangerous? lol Chemical sunscreens are extremely common and can be found in a ton of makeup and skincare products. It would only be a problem for someone who is sensitive to it. I actually have sensitive skin and never have issues with chemical sunscreens.

Finally Maybelline refreshes their Colour Tattoo eyeshadows! I loved that line but they kept the same colours for so many years I just got tired if it (currently loving Revlon's similar cream shadow pots). Will definitely check out the new shades.

You are so beautiful outside of the ring lighting - your skin looks perfect. Although I love the stickier foundation formulas, I do see them settling in smile lines too. Can you try the ELF Beauty Shield SPF 50 primer? It smooths and perfects without looking heavy, but it feels a bit tacky. I’d love to hear your opinion. Thanks!!

You must try as base on your eye lids Pigment pomade from Revolution Pro in the colour Nude Base! The product itself is too soft and not long lasting as a eyeliner, doesn't stay long on the water line BUT it will never crease on your lids (I have oily skin) as eyeshadow base even without setting it! I totally stop using even my P. Louis base and MAC Soft Ochre! Try it and you will love it!! However not sure how it will work on the dry skin, but for the girls like me on the oily side it is Holy Grail!!

I've been using that Maybelline Urban Cover foundation for about a week now and I've been loving it. It has nice coverage, a high level of spf, and a beautiful, natural looking finish on the skin. I have sensitive skin and haven't noticed any irritations or breakouts from the chemical sunscreen either. Also, the warning you read on the back is because of the sunscreen and is actually more common than you would think in makeup products. I mean unless you plan on applying your makeup near an open flame, there is no danger at all. It's not going to spontaneously burst into flames on your face. You would have to put your face up to a fire while you are applying it to see any issues. lol

I always add blush last. I’ve seen a lot of major makeup artists do that. It gives you a chance to see how everything works together. I add blush and then setting spray.

You are going to be seeing warning labels on a lot of products due to new labeling laws in California. The most common reason for flammable label is due to the inclusion of an oil or a wax. Paraffin wax is common in cosmetic, especially lipstick, but is technically flammable. You are going to see more cancer warning as well. The list on ingredient California deems carcinogenic includes coffee🤔

Just caught up with this video whilst eating my lunch just now ( UK time) . Loved the soft glam look you have going on here. I really wanted to see a Maybelline makeup tutorial. I always head to the Maybelline makeup for some reason I can't say it's my favorite because I buy so many drugstore makeup but I really wanted to see a Maybelline makeup tutorial wow it looks nice and the eye where I was dying to get all the colors but I'm slowly working on building up my eye colors so far I have 2 eye color the black one and the blue one my next one is the burgundy one and then I want to still the get the 4 shades have. Also, Colourpop has my favorite drugstore brow pencil! The brow boss pencil. I love that its super precise and it lasts all day for me, even without setting! The color matched me perfectly too, I have brown eyebrows and it wasn't reddish. I do like the elf eyebrow pencil that's white (not the precise black tube), it works AMAZINGLY and lasts insanely long!! However, the tip is thicker so it can be harder to work with. And it seems more waxy?

Thanks for reviewing these products. I have been gradually working away from foundations with SPF. You still need a dedicated product underneath- you don’t use enough foundation to get the appropriate amount of protection. Also - 16 shades is a little meager...I am interested in the cream eyeshadows and the lip products and will add to the list to try out.

So jealous of your beautiful lashes. I am not impressed that the foundation had a flammable warning "until it dries". 24 hour Color Tattoos cream eyeshadow is super amazing. I am in love with the lip crayon. I want it so bad!!! Great job!!! Love you💖💖💖💖
