I really like that thing! I sure could use that here on the homestead. I once slipped a disk in my lower back and was unable to walk and was basically bedridden for almost a month. I never want to go thru that again!!! Bless your heart, for going thru what you did with your neck. Hey, I wanted to tell you that I watched some of 4 or your last videos and the music was so loud I couldn't make out what you were saying and I had to continuously watch closely to see if you were talking to turn back up the volume so I could hear what you were saying, because I had to turn down the volume so much because of the loud music it was frustrating. So I only was able to deal with that for a few minutes before I went to the video before that, and it was the same thing. This video was the first I've found without the loud music, yes the jackhammer thing was loud but that is to be the expected... Just thought I'd give you a friendly heads up. You might lose some folks due to the volume of the music. Stay safe and I love your high tunnel.

I’m sorry to hear you hurt yourself using a T post pounder but there is a technic to using a hand held pounder! You don’t want to be holding it when it makes contact with the T post you simply lift it and fling it down on the post but absolutely don’t hold it when it makes contact with the post! That being said if these where available when I was ranching I definitely would have owned a couple of these to do the 1200 acer pasture myself and a hired man fenced in👍!!

Thank you for the input. Unfortunately after 3 major neck surgeries and hardware in the posterior and anterior c-spine even the motion of lifting or driving is painful. I am so glad we found this product. It makes it possible to achieve our fencing needs on the farm.

I’ll be showing this video to my us and! We just purchased a 11 acre farm, the fencing is in but needs repair before our animals come, I also want a high tunnel and it’s just the two of us so this will work great! Can you leave a link? 😊
why did you choose this style over a gas powered post driver such as a TITAN, I am researching this for myself and havent found any head to head comparisons.
@MichaelDHoskins Жыл бұрын
I chose it since I didn’t like the engines overhead on other drivers. After breaking my neck it is very hard to hold things up overhead so I needed less overhead weight.

Mine arrives tomorrow! Watching videos for any last minute tips 😅. Sad to hear I may not have the right sized connector on my compressor though, ugh. I’m going to try it with a 20v cordless Dewalt compressor I grabbed…but it is only 1 CFP at 90 PSI so I have a suspicion it may not work well enough (may only get to 2 CFP at 70 if I’m lucky and needs 2.5 I read), so I’ll then have to drag out the big compressor. Here’s hoping! 🤞🏻 Even if it is slower, still will be easier than dragging around the big compressor and generator if I’ve got enough battery packs charged up 😅

Seems as if the On/Off control somewhere on the hose that is not going up and down would be a good improvement.

That is one thing I’m still getting used to. When the psi is fine tuned it works flawlessly it just takes some time to get used to.

Good thought, I was thinking similar. I'd just pull the hose from the compressor outlet or the shut-off valve.

I have a rhino gpd-45 for that no compressor

I considered that but having the engine and fuel overhead was a deterrent for me as well as the reviews.

Wow for the low price of $1000 i can hire a few college kids for $25/hr 😂
@MichaelDHoskins Жыл бұрын
If you have a college close to you you could do that however in the country on a farm you find that tools are essential and often required in odd hours when help may not be available. Guess you could hire door dash to deliver animal feed also but I prefer my truck. 🤷🏼♂️
