❤️love the step by step explanation also LOVE that u mentioned the marbling is under the first scraping. I tried marbling before I freaked out when it started blending into each other.

I noticed your question and I hope I am not stepping on anyone’s toes, but I got my mat at my local art store. You could also use Amazon and type in self healing cutting mat. My mat is green on one side and black on the other and measurements are in inches and centimeters

It is a quilting self healing mat and you can find them at most crafting g stores and amazon I beleive;)

Amazing, what is wafer paper glue made of and what is the conditioner. I have rice paper and want to a cake topper. Perhaps a sail. How would I do that.

The glue is just wafer paper scraps dissolved in water. You can nuke it for about 30 seconds or leave it over night. The conditioner is 1 tsp liquid food grade glucose in 4 tsp water. It adds flexibility to the paper. So that you can add texture of fold it easier without cracking as much.

I use a crusting American but you can also do this with Swiss or Italian Meringue.
