NEW: Mark VII AquaJet XT || Barn Car Wash: Saugus Site

July 2022 UPDATE: The ceramic sealant has been implemented into both the tunnel and touch free wash.
Here is the 24 Touch Free automatic at the Barn Car Wash in Saugus MA! This is alongside the Belanger/Motor City Wash Works tunnel.
This touch free bay was added on later when this car wash first opened. At first, this bay used to have a Mark VII AquaJet GTO-700 with On-Board dryers and it was being maintained very well. But in November of 2018, it was ripped out and replaced with this AquaJet XT.
This is the second AquaJet XT that I’ve been through. The first one was at University Fuel and that one had the Top nozzle Vortex dryers, while this one has the newer On-board dryers, as they have the newer motor gates on them. For a 2 year old system, this one is holding up well and hasn’t had any issues since installation.
Just like the one at University Fuel, this one doesn’t have any triple foam, but it does have FoamTecs, which is Mark VII’s version of Ryko’s ColorWave and PDQ’s OverGlow. As this wash uses Simoniz chemicals, it applies the FoamTecs using Simoniz’s Hot Wax & Shine. This one is basically the same thing as the one at University Fuel, but this one has On-board dryers while the one at University Fuel has off-board dryers.

i don't like that mark vii got rid of the spinning wands. older mark vii's with spinning wands were better.

Yes! This is the newer generation of the AquaJet XT! Most Mark VII systems near me are the ChoiceWashes and the older AquaJets.
