The long awaited New Maruti Brezza 2022 has finally been launched with a fresh design, new automatic gearbox and tons of new features. Prices start at Rs 7.99 lacs and go all the way upto Rs 13.80 lacs (ex-showroom). The mileage too has gone up a bit thanks to the new mild hybrid system.

Great design. But more like Jeep Compass now. The steering wheel also has the same look as circular Jeep chrome. The rear lights however seemed hastily designed and do not match the rest of the car.

As usual, a well explained and to-the-point review. Looking forward to driving review too. I was waiting to upgrade my car from Baleno to Brezza with sunroof and Automatic as must-haves. My daughter wants a sunroof and wife and I need the comfort of Automatic. But these two combined options starts from 13.5L on road at Pune for ZXI Auto. Quite a strech from my budget of 12L. Little disappointed with pricing is what I'm saying.

@@niveyshak Yes sir obviously. Sunroof use is more like driving slowly inside society roads just for her fun. She sees other kids doing that and wants that only. I won't be using it at all at any speed more than 20kmph. But what disappointed me is that the cost is not in line with what Maruti Suzuki is known for. Higher cost is not justifying it's worth. ZXI Auto is costing close to 14L that also without dual tone.

But if I put the build quality aside, this new edition really looks better on the exterior part, interior is subjective. The last generation was a sort of pain to the eyes.

In the name of wheel cladding and bumper cladding they are cost cutting on paint and providing non painted bumper. These gets dirty after some months of use and difficult to clean and maintain. Not at all acceptable.

@@shankar5497 if talked about paint, so far in a budget segment, I've seen quality painting only on Skoda, Volkswagen & Toyota cars. Honda used to be good in the past, but now they also do such cost-cutting. Infact, one of my friend's father works in Mahindra & Mahindra. Uncle said that paint they use on the cars (not tractors), is of not that good quality and it loses its charm after a year or so. There's a channel named Boodmo TV (I think so; do a cross-check) who shows the paint quality used in Tata Safari (new one, not the storm or dicor). Infact, Tata Nexon faces similar issues. I'm not a maruti fan boy; infact when the GNCAP was 1st introduced in India with Nexon's 5 star rating, I was one of the happiest people on earth. I love Tata & Mahindra cars from the bottom of my heart. But yes, this is the real scenario of paint quality in the automobile industry of India.

Car is good added some features but pricey on higher automatic variantszxi plus auto is 13.8lacs . Kia sonet htx auto 11.30 lac, Nexon xzplus auto 11.6 lac venue SX plus auto 12.0 lacs are other to consider. In this price seltos htkplus variants and creta Splus knight editions ,mg Astor mid variants,kushaq mid variants are also better options with more space and features with better interior quality.

Hello Vikas Sir, With all due respect, one thing that you stated in this video is incorrect which is that the platform hasn't been changed. The fact is that the new brezza is no more on Suzuki's Global-C platform that helped the old brezza get a 4 star rating from G-NCAP. The new brezza is now based on that poor and inferior Heartech platform and it is recently confirmed by one of the senior Maruti director/manager himself in his interview with Siddharth Vinayak Patankar. This change in platform raises serious concerns on the structural build quality and safety of the new brezza until it gets tested again by the G-NCAP as we all know how badly this low grade platform has performed in the crash tests and also in real world accidents. You mentioned that you guarantee to address the questions in your first drive review, so please get this platform change fact validated from your side as well and clarify the same either with a reply to this comment or in your new brezza first drive video. Looking forward to it. Thanks.

It’s always been a practical, no non-sense car. But the cladding is just excessive this time, which looks hideous and robs from what could have been a clean & practical product all round. The sunroof too IMO is unnecessary, in our climate i would typically prefer VSeats than that heat chimney but I understand where thay come from. Would love to see manufacturers add modular options to variant structure going forward where people can pick & choose the features they want, atleast a handful of them.

Cancelled my booking! 😥😥 Overpriced and the second top model ZXI doesn't have front and back armrests, leather wrapped steering also given old 7 inch touch screen (90's TV's 🤣🤣) which looks very very ugly in this model! Only top end model get all these good features and and it's very good looking 👍 but on road price is 15.5 to 17L for MT and 6 speed AT respectively, where you can buy a one segment up cars like Creta, Seltos and MG Astor for this price. Very disappointed and I cancelled my booking, booked venue turbo imt top end for 14.18L on road which will have most of the features except 360 camera and HUD, that's okay!
