Tbh, this is a drawback in my opinion. All cars should carry the same design language, which will help us to identify the brands. If you dont like the design, then start a new lineup with a bit differemt design language (like the German trios). Giving a car its own identity doesnt have to be determined by its unique design only. All BMWs, Ferraris, Hyundais dont look the same but have something in common, which makes it easier to understand the brand of the car.

I understand you had great control over the car but just that with kids nearby things can become super messy very soon. Sometime they tend to cross the roads without looking at the traffic.
