is there any chance of the Goblin's Last stand being reprinted or the issues being available in MMM format? I really really want the Amazing Spider-man 120-121 issues in any format but everywhere they are out of stock.

Omar is it likely we see the Spider-Man epic line to go past volume 26 aka Clone saga? I would love to collect next chapter and Mackies run in epic format. A lot of those are extremely oop. That's why I love epics everything collected without the headache of trying to work out a reading order.

I actually got to read ASM #2 in Marvel Tales back in I believe the late 70's, early 80's. I also got to read some of the Lee/Ditko Spider-Man run in paperbacks and in I believe, treasury editions, which as a kid I loved and always get excited when I see them at comic shows. I have the last printing of that Spider-Man Epic (My first ever Epic, thanks to this channel for alerting me to them as that's probably the route I'm going with to collect these stories) and I'm reading it as we speak.

Can't find Reign of X anywhere. Not on IST. CGN has it still listed for preorder, but with a June release date. Amazon says next week. I'm so confused haha.

Wonderful Spidey overload this week, I just order MMW 3 - can't stop resisting them! Got the Cap one too - which contains a lot content from the new Penguin Marvel books. I don't own the Hellfire Gala storyline as it all sounded like nonsense to me, so have skipped over it. However I might pick it up cheaply here now its out

Now they just need to reprint the rest of the epics, I seriously can’t find a physical volume four anywhere except for the “complete epic collection” eBay listings and I could only find volume 2 overpriced at 125$, Volume 1 was still hard to find, but I found some decent prices and was able to get the Marvel Masterworks covering Volume 1 and volume 3 of the epics was kind of easy to find.

During your overview of Spiderman epic collection you stated that those stories weren't accessible in the 80's and 90's but although I can't speak about the 90's , in the late 70's and/or early 80's marvel did reprint most of their titles under marvel tales(which showcased spider man's early issue )and other titles that did the same for x-men, the avengers,fantastic four even sub-mariner ,like I said im not aware of any reprints in the 90"s, also there were small digest that would print entire runs of the series.the marvel masterworks was the first full sized collected edition of the series to my knowledge...great content as always

I buy the Anthology titles of Dawn/Reign of X, but get the key Hardback books like Hox-Pox, X of Swords, Hellfire Gala etc. and yes I'll be getting 12-13 even though I have the red carpet Hellfire Gala. I wish the other Marvel titles did the anthology style of books

I’m getting the anthology trades too, and I’ve chosen to instead just buy the Gala Red Carpet hc and double dip with the first half of Reign of X 14. Easier for me than hunting down the floppies for the COTA, Marauders, and X-Men issues

@@theplatinumplayer7804 I don't buy floppys I try to stick to hardbacks except for when it looks like they aren't going to collect them in a HB anytime soon, then it's the TPB's. I'm from England and all our home grown comics are anthology style, so I'm totally used to that format.

That Spider-Man epic is probably my joint favourite epic. So so good. Surprised as well considering I didn't dig the first couple of issues. I'm a massive Spider-Man fan and shocked I didn't read these stories sooner.

Been collecting the title constantly since 2007(which is over half of my life) and read most of ASM including auxiliary titles like Friendly neighbourhood, Sensational, Avenging Spider-Man. Alternative titles like 2099 and Ultimate, Noir, Manga. Heck even obscure stuff like Red Sonja/Spider-Man, Reign, Spidey and Batman/spider-man. Just cause I've never got around to where it all began doesn't mean you can gate keep who's a fan and who isn't. Some people🙄

I don't think calling all the titles crap I listed is fair on all those fab writers or artists either TBF. That's what I'm doing with ASM filling the gaps in the epic line. And no from what I've read of Stan Lee's run, yes it is a great read but not by far my favourite. I think the Hobgoblin/De Falco/Wedding era is a whole lot better. But what do I know. I'm supposed to be a idiot.🤷

@@tristanhogue4690 Way I see it a lot of modern readers coming into comics won't check out the Stan Lee run anyway as they see it outdated. They probably pick something in the more modern storytelling like Ultimate Spider-Man. Does that mean they aren't a fan. Hell no.

I really hope we’ll be getting a reprint of Spider-Man Epic Vol 2 next year. With Vol 3 having been reprinted late last year and now Vol. 1 getting some love (along with Vol. 4 getting reprinted next year) it would be awesome to have Vol. 2 get some love as well so we can have those first four volumes all available

That’s the thing I’m debating on getting this epic collection or just saving up Bc in a week or two since volume 1 omnibus of The Amazing Spider-Man is getting a reprint and I’ll get more content out of it since Volume 2 of the Epic collection cost sm!
