Oh no, the end was missing. Thanks so much for posting this though! I remember watching this live back on TNT in the US. It was a really great match. Serna serve was a big factor. It's a shame because Mary was playing so well and looked so fit. It's really bad luck that she never made it far at Wimbledon with her serve, groundstrokes, and great net skills.

Thanks for sharing! Serna was very talented, had many wins over some top players between 98-01, and even once regarded as the successor of A. Sanchez and C. Martinez, but it didn’t happen. I still don’t why 😅

This was a brutal draw for Mary. She played good tennis here but Serna with her leftie serve out wide and slice was just to good that day.

Yes Serna was great on grass. I think she made it to the final of Eastbourne and was beaten by Davenport...I was there but long time ago and can't be sure! Her game was suited to grass
