I have been a vegetarian about 2 months after finding Krishna Consciousness, 4 years now also. I want to be a better devotee. I want to love Krishna more and be more obedient. For the first time I am doing Ekadashi. I hope it goes well. I haven't fasted for spiritual reasons in years. This was placed no my heart to do.

The man says that in the early days things were very different. My impression over the past 40 years is that the type of people coming to HK has changed. I remember very earnest and committed people in the past, immersed totally in Krishna. Now many temples are a stepping stone for young people who want to travel the world, for free. This changes the atmosphere considerably.
