I live in Denmark, and I have just ordered a new Mazda CX-30 ‘Exclusive Line’ in the color Deep Crystal Blue. In Denmark the Exclusive Line also comes with a heated steering wheel and a high-quality 12-speaker Bose sound system with a subwoofer in the boot of the car. I don’t know why the car in the video doesn’t have that, since you say it’s the Exclusive Line.

I ordered mine in June and it arrive in October. It was also exclusive line but keep in mind that now I am seeing that what I have now is called "centre-line" and exclusive line has more equipment. Seeing that this video is done 9 months ago, its probably with older trim level combination.

Just bought a stock cx30 exclusive line from begin 2024, dealer explained that Mazda changed exclusive line to centre line halfway 2024.

Hello Dan. Thanks again for the very nice and detailed presentation of the car. Something that I think would be usefull to be mentioned ... when you use Mazda's car navigation the Head up display shows more information like the name of the road you approach in a crossroad, the arrow/direction where you have to turn etc ... while when you use the google maps navigation through the connection of your phone ... you get only the basic - let's say the standard info from the Head up display ... such as the speedometer, the speed limit etc. Something interesting to be mentioned I guess ... 😀 Apart from that, coming back to the car as such ... it is 100% certain that this is the best value for money car in its segment at present. If, for instance, we are talking about the Nagisa pack equipment and the 186hp version of the car ... you pay 35000 euro and get plenty of things in equipment (Bose sound system, part leather interior with electric - heated seats with memories, full driver's safety futures, smart key, led lights, adaptive cruise control and more ... plus the amazing 6 years warranty or 150000 kilometers + 15 years free road assistance ... etc etc ... the car is a fantastic deal ! In addition, you get a car with probably the best manual gear-box in the market ... ideal for real drivers car enthousiasts who like driving ... not drivers who only enjoy a car that drives itself with fancy big colorfull screens to admire and have your eyes continuously stuck on them ... a new car with futures and cockpit - dashboard design that in a few years a buyer cound not find any more in the market... since the only available options in new cars will be fully automated self-driving fancy cars with impressive screens and ligths inside, nice to be in ... but not to drive.

Looking to change to a CX-30 from my Mazda3 which I love. Love the review!! The quality of Mazda interiors have overtaken VW and Mercedes and is on par with BMW in my opinion. I left VW after 3 of them. I believe you can now change in the settings on the 10” screen to touch screen if you want. Also the NON Bose system you definitely need to change the standard settings (which you can find online from a sound engineer) make a hell of a difference from the standard “pop” “studio” settings it sounds fantastic!!! 1 other thing I noticed from the dash which is new….. low level washer fluid notification….this in new too.

I had a top of the range CX-30 skyactiv X on loan to me while my Mazda 2 was in for a service. Was great to try the CX-30. Really lovely car

I got the CX-30 instead of the Mazda 3 for 2 main reasons: First, you sit very low in the Mazda 3 (not an issue if you are 20 yo, but too low for my own taste) Second, the CX-30 trunk has more height (I think it adds +/- 100 liters) However, keep in mind that the Mazda 3 is cheaper and has a better fuel efficiency (and in my opinion is more fun to drive, especially with a manual gearbox).

Some additional information, I just got the car. --- Key, It's more like a wireless device with 2-3 remote control buttons. When you have key with you, as soon as you approach driver side handle, it will instantly unlock all doors on car. For trunk, if you have lower trim level (like I do) you do not have automatic trunk open/close function but, trunk will also automatically unlock when you press the trunk handle, if you want to open just the trunk. Basically, you get to the trunk and then press the "handle" to unlock the trunk and just lift trunk up, Car detects that key is close by so it allows a fluid experience. If someone else without key comes and try to do the same, pressing the handle won't do anything and they can't open the trunk. Trunk doors are generally light weight and on my trim level, I have a button (usually at place where automatic close button is) to set car to lock after I close the trunk. By default, key is not set to automatically lock the car as you leave the car but you can configure this in settings on infotainment and then it works just fine. On more expensive trim levels, it's like on the video. --- The small compartment on the bottom left side of the weel This is meant for toll, parking tickets and stuff like that and I like that --- Infotainment Very easy to use the knob and 2024 version supports touch screen function on android auto. However, I still find it much more comfortable to use the knob. Keep in mind that if you want to switch between Mazda infotainment and Android auto, you just need to press on Mazda icon, on android auto menu. You can access android auto main menu by pressing home button on your central control, where the knob is. --- Back seats Enough space, not as tight as people on video reviews claims it to be. I could drive 2 people in the back, 2 adults, one is around 185cm tall, other one was shorter, they said they had no issues at all. -- My complains? I am using two phones and car allows to connect more than one device to the car. BUT! It appears that car is allowing to set order and priority and which phone you are going to use for what (audio, calls or android auto) However, it will only use ONE phone at the time. It won't use two phones at same time. Once I tried this out, I rather quickly find out that this feature is probably ... bugged or simply bad. Because shortly after, I couldn't connect to my first phone either. Or any that I connected. So, I had to reset all settings to factory defaults and reconnect my device. If you want to use two phones, you are better off with using 1 phone with dual SIM cards. Another thing. I have a manual transmission on CX30. One unusual thing is that windshield projector won't indicate if you need to switch gear but it does on dashboard, so you need to move eyes up and down to see this and I did not find this to configure in settings. Of course, this is not an issue if you can hear engine roaring and if you have automatic TM. Overall, car is fantastic. Space is solid, it's good looking and simple to use.

Today have driven the ŠKODA Scala and then the CX30 which are almost the same price but the Mazda is much better quality and better equipped, was really impressed. Dear Dan, I show your presentation of the new BMWX1 2.0d the white Mpack full extra car... ok when we see a full extra new bmw what we can say... it s impressive. I wd like to ask... how wd you compare the two cars? Quality wise... CX-30 vs X1 ? Of course the bmw is a much more modern technology car in many things... but what about suspension, driving experience, fun to drive -handling, steer feeling etc ? Needless to say about the reliability of Mazdas... on bmw after 2years the guarantee expires... and then you go to the dealer for reparations... nice the screens and gadgets... but easy to break... I have driven both cars, the fwd 20i X1 with the 1.5turbo +48v that gives 170ps... this is what we can buy in Greece... the one you have driven is too pricy... So I have driven the two cars, I have personal experience but I wd like to know your view.

BMW have better driving feeling and overall is better but much more expensive. As you say Mazda have probably better guarantee and better price … both are good cars but you need to choose what make you happy. If money are both a problem BMW but if they are Mazda is also great 👍

I testdrove a Kia Xceed recently which is Kia’s crossover SUV. I was very disappointed. It did not have the same comfort and premium feel of the Mazda CX-30 at all.

You get Stearing Wheel heating only with the Leather Seats Option. Without Leather you don´t have any Stearing Wheel heating!!!!!!! That´s not good and the CX-30 is getting more expensive. I know it because i drive the Sportsline CX-30 from August 2021 with the X-Motor and 6MT!!!!!

I like it, I got my CX-30 in white to show the contrast even more. If you don't like it I suggest the Mazda 3 which doesn't have any plastic. It's basically the same car but you sit lower (too low for my taste, that's why I got the C-30 instead).
