I think there is no change of the ambient light inside. The ambient light ist only white 😞

@@SDADanCars Yesterday I had the opportunity to check this in a demo CX60. The gearbox switches to manual when shifting with the paddles on the steering wheel. In settings, the exit from manual shift can be set to automatic after a certain period or manual by holding the + paddle. Let me know if you find out more about this topic.

Is the fuel range of 320 km a combined range (with EV) It seems a bit little for a full tank of gas (50 litres)

Yes because I have left the engine running for long and they calculate probably the consumption. It is around 800km together. Real life maybe less

I'm truly interested in the real world fuel consumption of this car (phev) over say 200 kilometres+ because I doubt its anywhere as good as Mazda claim it to be. I suspect its good for a short way but a long continuous journey may prove a lot different?

Normally Mazdas consumption values are very good calculated. I think an overall consumption of around 3-4 litres is possible. It depends how you use a hybrid.

@@Mr_Dink Hi, I agree, I can easily get over the quoted mileage on my CX-30GT Sport tech but the claims for this phev are I thought a little optimistic . I could belive it for a short drive but 200 kilometres upwards?

@@Beorn. Maybe its much higher on the highway. But with my CX-5 2.5 i have a highway consumption at around 8 litres. It should be comparable or even less with a bit of electric help 😉

@@Mr_Dink what concerns me is the 60 has a small traction battery to assist but has a limited range. Now I'm guessing the fuel consumption quoted is assuming there is charge in the battery as there would be when you set off but after cruising for a couple of hours on the motorway, highway where there's not much regenerative braking going on what consumption are you going to get when the traction battery is depleted. I know it can recharge from the engine but that in itself will kill the fuel consumption? I would like to see a long drive test to find out.
