New Mercy Movement is SO GOOD! 😍 - Overwatch 2

I was a instant fan of Mercys new movement changes when this released and I am loving it even more as I level up with her. That backward and forward GA boost added with choosing when you do it during GA is amazing. I feel unkillable. However I feel a bit stuck with her. If my team is decent or I have a decent dps or two I can carry us to victory but if my team is severely lacking I feel like I have no impact. She doesn't seem to have the ability to lead the team when they need it most but can empower decent teammates to look amazing. Hard to know sometimes if my best choice is to switch to different support or change some things in my gameplay to boost our chances of winning. Either way though I think she is my favorite hero with this insane moment.

I've been having the exact same issue. She really only feels as good as her teammates at times & can hardly make any plays on her own aside from the insane rez or somehow getting a glock kill. I've been opting to just play other supports if my team can't secure picks because it's better to try to find my own value rather than pocketing people who get none.

@@RoboVirtue Ohhh the pain of pocketing someone with no results Lolol. I need to invest some time into Baptise and Ana. Not as comfortable with them as I’d like to be considering how big of impact they can make individually.

Glad im not the only one, I just did my placements 2 days ago and got to silver, I hope to climb to at least plat but you barely have any impact and I really hate how my teammates play as if they had a blindfold on em. Other supports I play is Ana or moria or zen, so if nothing is happening I usually switch to them but I barely have fun with them because mercy’s movement feels so good and the other supports you don’t have the same feeling

i also love her movement in ow2! the thing I struggle most with is NOT using it, as backwards as it sounds. the urge to randomly super jump, bunny hop, backwards GA, etc when I don't need to is so strong. half of the time it gets me killed when I was already in a good spot beforehand.

I completely understand. Especially after learning superjump successfully in ow1, I felt the need to keep doing it at random times cause it was fun but it’s easier to execute it now and i was urged to randomly do these tech things.

Regarding the new movement, at first it felt weird to me but I tried getting used to it. I’m really happy with this new movement now and I’m warming up to it! Although, getting used to moving that way is quite harder than I thought. P.S I feel so bad for you getting all these toxic and angry teammates. Wish you luck on your ranked journey!

yo eleyzhau thank you for your videos and tips. i’m a new player to overwatch just started 2 weeks ago; was originally going to main genji, rein, hanzo or reaper but picked mercy cause i didn’t set my buttons. stuck with her because she was kinda fun to use and my aim is so bad i’d be lucky to hit the floor if i fell. my movements still bad but if my team is still close i keep everyone healed and almost hardly anyone dies. i had one guy call me one of the best mercy’ he’s ever seen.

That Ashe doesn't deserve anything. His ego is way too large for someone who has the least damage as a DPS. Moira had more than him at one point. But it's always someone else's fault instead. 🤓

anti-nade is the purple that goes around healthbars and stops ALL healing to those targets affected. i call it anti-nade because when ana lands her nade on enemy it will apply this anti-healing debuff. junkerqueen ult also applies the anti-healing debuff. hope this helps ♥

Neat trick with mercy, on KBM you can bind L-Shift and L-CTRL to same mouse button and you can click one button twice for super jump or that button and space for slingshot jump

An option for faster decent would be nice. And would be great to have Mercy’s wings flap in a way that reflects her change of direction it just looks a bit unnatural at the moment. Love easy backwards GA🎉. Ps would be interesting to see a “gust” boop ability in experimental similar to zens kick.

I think now that I've learnt the movement it's so much more smooth and consistent to perform then ow1, mainly cause ow1 mercy movement wasn't fixed in the game and was a bug but all us mercy players perfected it to the best. I do miss super jump rez but slingshot/boomerang ga feels so nice to do and I think helps with positioning and survivability then just a super jump. :D

I just wish they’d tweek the meter a bit. Id like to see if they could shorten the distance of when your able to sj, since old sj i could do it very close to someone. Also at least on console i wish theyd make it less clunky. Like sometimes when i have the meter all the way up and crouch for the jump it doesnt work. This usually happens whenever im sj for the 2nd time in a row or about to crouch for the jump and im not directly looking at the person ive GA to. Am i doing something wrong? I usually jump for better positioning, so im looking for it as i im using ga while also glancing at my meter. (Sj=Superjump,ga=guardian angel)

her movement is way better but she’s just honestly just not that great in overwatch 2…. she can’t do anything that can drastically change a fight like Lucio, Bap, Ana, or Kirko…. she was easily my favorite character of early overwatch 1 as a Master SR Mercy one trick…. she just doesn’t feel that strong… I have switched over to a lucio main and it’s so much easier to carry games as Lucio… he just provides fight winning abilities with great heals and also has great movement.

Use guardian Angel to a teammate and press the jump button and move backwards, I think? I don’t remember if you have to press (or move the joystick) like you’re walking backwards before you press A so you should Practice in the practice range ^^

Could not disagree more. It's terrible. The GA cooldown feels so much slower so you can't jump as much and you have to be far from your teammates to get max height. I used to be able to get max height from every superjump in OW1 even if I was an inch from my teammate and get it in a split second. Instead if you're close you barely get any height at all. You used to be able to easily super jump to people behind walls if you timed it right and stay hidden while still connected to them (like the bridge area in Eichenwald), but not anymore. She feels like she has a boat anchor attached to her. I hate playing her now and I had 1.2k hours on her before. They did her dirty.

Your focused way too much on damage boosting. Half of your team died because you focused dmg boosting one team member and can only Rez one team mate every 30sec your far better off just healing your team and then giving them quick bursts of boosted dmg after you’ve healed them to full at least that way your team survives longer and you let your tank die twice in favour of dmg boosting an Ashe keep your tank full health then dmg boost when there in the thick of dishing out dmg
