He can, just unfortunately he has the same typing as Zweilous which also can spawn in the deepest level. They really didn't think things through having Roaring share spawns with a pokemon of the exact same typing as it...

Think they did think everything out, its not supposed that every single one must have an individual typing. Their typings overall are pretty decent & like u saw in violet its the same that iron hands and iron fighter share the fighting type. So idk 😮‍💨

There's a small spawn point at the bottom between the rock and the crystal column that can hold a couple of spawns at a time - worth checking but if you're only despawning right to the edge of the rock column it shouldn't make much of a difference.

where exactly did you get the iron thorns? i only know of the small rock slide thingy and its so painfully slow. have you found a better spot for it? :D

@@Ninjatoad_ go to research station one or the cliff bottom and top leading to station 2, I’d Recommend that one because you can check the top of the cliff jump down because they spawn at the bottom too and then climb back up

Also seen this video on twitter some days ago and it’s really useful. However you also should pay attention on the bottom since Pokémon also spawn between the rock and the big crystal.

Small tip for the crystal Check underneath it. There are like 3-4 spawns on the lip under the crystal

It's still unfortunate that Scarlet has the hardest ones to hunt. Can't do dark for Roaring Moon because Zweilous, Lycanroc and Sableye, can't do dragon because of Zweilous, Gible and Gabite

I did a shiny hunt for Roaring moon with dragon sandwich, I found a shiny one just before the effect wore off so I'm sure that you'll have the same luck or even better

@@apolar0476 done about 6 sandwiches. Found a Weavile, Gabite, with dark and dragon sandwich, and then a Greavard and a Chansey some times immediately after the sandwich. The rest of the times I've got nothing.

Cool tip if you do this in multiplayer, only a maximum of 6 or 7 pokemon can spawn at a time, with a max of 4 spawns per person. Only reason you would ever do this is if you use a fighting sandwich to spawn great tusk and iron hands at the same time if you want the other games exclusive shiny in your OT name. I did this with a violet friend now he has a great tusk with his OT.

Is it possible/ recommended to use this method to get iron valient? I want to get my own shiny but I have scarlet and a friend with violet and wanted to know if it was viable for this specific mon in co-op mode

@@heriberto33045 Spawns revolve around each player so your friend would have to spawn the shiny and then you would have to encounter it. I found its best to stay out of the way of your friend hunting so you dont interrupt their spawns and then when they find it, go to their location and encounter it. Remember people are normally invisible in area zero so make sure you communicate this. Another tip is for both of you to turn off auto save and save before you make the sandwich just incase you dont find it in the 30 minutes then you could reset in that situation.

I tried the shiny flutter mane glitch for the first time this morning and ended up with 11 shiny flutter manes with five minutes left on my sandwich timer with shiny charm. I knew the glitch was insane, I never thought it to be THAT insane.

There's one spot on a cliff, where you just hang there and jump left and right to despawn and spawn them, which I thought was good, but the spot on the crystal is even more convenient. Great guide :)

if you have any doubts about your sandwich recipe there’s a pokémon sandwich simulator that works perfectly! check on there to see if it gives encounter power. though from what i’m aware and my experience , all the mix max herbas give encounter power besides sweet and sour for half the types and a few other random exceptions. i usually use bitter and sweet and i haven’t had any issues

@@havisyanuar1060 Iron Valiant can be found in the main cave, must be a fairy sandwich (go to station 4) Pretty sure Iron Thorns is outside only, I haven't attempted the cave with it. There's a rocky section you can run up to reset spawns. You've got to slide down the path which you did in the story.

Weird things happen when trying this in union circle. I have violet and my friend has scarlet. She couldn’t see any flutter mane spawning, but I could see non-shiny flutter mane showing then disappearing almost immediately. It was during the day, so I guess I was seeing all those non-shiny spawns that aren’t supposed to show. I couldn’t interact with them by running into them or using ZR. The last few seconds of the sandwich a shiny spawned in the floor and I was able to interact and catch it. The shiny was the only one my friend could see. The game runs great 😁

That's a quick way, I sent you an afk spot where u can farm shinys in discord as well. It's slower since you are afk, but it's exactly like the larvitar/bagon exploit where you just sent a pokemon out and beat them 1 by 1 till a shiny spawns.

2:55 the combination of herbs doesnt matter its if you drop some ingredients of the sandwitch you will get catching instead of encounter (i did light testing like 30 mins)

Not all Pokemon spawn there I believe, not to mention some paradox Pokemon share types with regular Pokemon that makes it inefficient to hunt. For example, as far as I'm aware, Iron Thorns/Sandy Shocks can't spawn there - and paradox mons like Roaring Moon share types with Pokemon like Zweilous

You can also do this at the very top of Area Zero where you first get dropped in. That's where I got my Iron Hands.

You'll never have a problem with iron valiant and iron hands showing up together cause one is only in that one cave area and iron hands is everywhere else mostly.

just send a flying pokemon to kill anything non shiny with auto, you can stay on the crystal. the flying pokemon can cross the chasm. been using this trick to pick up items you cant reach before upgrading your ride in the early game

Literally is the perfect size to replicate picnic resets in area zero and faster at that! I wonder if there are any overworld locations where this can be done. Ik for some of my water outbreaks I've been able to use long cliffs to climb up to the point that the pomemon start to despawn and I'm pretty much doing water picnics at a faster rate than the picnic replication shown here because I'm only taking about 5 to 10 steps for each set of spawns
