Honestly kinda sucks how easy it is in this game.. before was so hard to find them and they were special. I had atleast 10 before I finished game and have found tons more sence just with shiny charm I'll run around clearing raids for a couple hours and usually find 1 or 2 without really paying close attention

In order to shiny hunt Iron Moth using this method, don't start by jumping into the crater like Blaines did (it causes a known glitch that causes the Iron Moths to fly up out of your reach). Instead, go into the Area 0 building, and go to facility/complex 1. Once outside, make your way up to where Blaines was in the video (checking the Iron Moths that spawn along the way), and set things up from there. This negates the glitch, and keeps the Iron Moths from "being raptured by Arceus"! (I used the method to get 2 shiny Iron Moths just last night, so I guarantee that it works. 👍)

I didn’t try this method of entering for a shiny hunt. But This may also help with shiny hunting corviknight. (Steel sandwich) They do fly up when they spawn in.

@@nfry5813 most of the AFK shinny hunt mention this. Because it's the key function of stopping the auto battle when a shinny spawns. You can particularly look up afk shinny Applin hunt videos

For those that have Violet I don’t recommend using this method to hunt Iron Moth for some reason as soon as one spawns in it immediately flies away

Yeah kind of wish Blaines would do a video on a good place to hunt Iron Moth instead of showing off these methods in Scarlet. Roaring Moon is hard to hunt for Scarlet players because of its typing. For us Violet players it's Iron Moth because what changes on it is so damn easy to miss.

The method does work for shiny hunting Iron Moth (used it to get 2 just last night). However, instead of immediately jumping down into the crater, go inside the building, and go to facility 1. Once outside, make your way up to where Blaines was in the video (checking the Iron Moths that spawn along the way), and you'll be able to set things up from there. If you start from facility 1 and make your way up from there, the Iron Moths at the top won't fly away as if Arceus (or Dialga) were calling them home! (It's a known glitch that causes Iron Moth to fly up like that.)

Climb that rock slightly and nothing spawns inside the rocks and you can see every single spawn while your pokemon auto battles, I found it to be a much better spot to sit for this location :) Thanks!

I would recommend Gallade for this hunt, it is psychic type, learns falls swipe + hypnosis and is much faster than flutter mane.

In lvl of A0 there is a stone pillar where you can manipulate spawns to spawn on the caddy corner, corner of the pillar. Next auto battle until shiny

As someone who recently mark-hunted shiny Slither Wing for several days, while this method does work, the AI of your Let's Go mon is semi-reliable at best and you'll find it will constantly require resetting not only when there are no mons nearby, but also because it's pathing gets interrupted or starts looping. You will eventually get it but your rate of respawns in pretty slow in comparison. If you want to do it faster, the area at the bottom of the cliff over that fence is better to use when you're doing your slow-run, camera pan, standard hunt, especially if you clear the pack-spawns there first.

I thought maybe a It’s a Mystery Gift like Ya get an item of like a book? Or maybe like a Rotom Form Room like In platinum? I'm still convinced that we need all event raid to have a change to drop herba mystica. Otherwise these raids are almost junk. The charazard and Cinderace ones are the ones that matter to me. And yes I don't want to grind a stupid list of Pokemon raid for a small chance for one item. It just seems too grindy.

Even if you manage to get the potential Mon, you're still not guaranteed to get a herb mystica. As someone not fond of changing the time clock, it's frustrating having to wait for more chances to get one. That's if they even spawn at all in dens....

I can only hope they'll have something in the DLC. If I had to guess we could see a BP exchange for herba mystica. Though it would be at a stupid high price.

You need dragon sandwich and to slowly despawn/respawn Pokémon 1 by 1 so that no groups of Pokémon (like sneasel\greavard) pop up

Honestly I just use encounter level 2 and got shiny iron thorns from it🤷‍♂️ I also did this for charcadet and got 2 yesterday! Stop wasting your herbs! Grind the charm and boom! No more herbs needed! Unless you dont have much time but I work and still have time to grind👌

@@dharve0280 Its actually really fast if you have the charm! on my first sandwhich I got the shiny charcadet in less than 5 min! also got a random skiddo... but for sure it just really depends on your rng and whether you have the charm or not. In reality do as you please I guess, I just rather stick to not wasting herbs and saving them for rarer spawns1

Yeah for some reason iron moth in that starting area just start flying up. Id recommend going down the normal path until you can find a place where you can despawn and respawn them easily and just use the switch zoom in to check. Their horns will be silver as well as the small triangles at the start of their wings. I caught 3 in one sandwich that way
