It was quiet for ucla fans anyway. UNM had more fans there, and they were loud and supportive!

I love watching podcast I love the way you talk about the basketball team in the football team keep up the great work Come on bruins basketball team you got to play better 😒

Didn’t get to watch the game; I thought having paramount+ got me cbs sports. I was wrong. It seems like one of those things where the Lobos have continuity and are seasoned, whereas UCLA has recently been put together and doesn’t have an identity yet. They need probably 12 more games or so together so they can find out who is who and trust each other.

You learn more from failure than success! So this isn’t a major problem! Being humbled just shows where you need to improve. Ball handling, rebounding, better defense. Free throws, we also shot terribly against a sufficating defense. They had a better floor general. Trent Perry looks like more true point guard than Andrews . Andrews will play in the NBA but he'll improve like Jrue Holiday who really didnt impress me under Holland but neither did Peyton Watson. Look at them now. Jaquez, Juzang is getting a good amount of backup minutes and starting to score, like we knew he would eventually. We don't have an identity yet. Defense and fundsmental team basketball. Passing and rebounding. Our best player (that night) missed 4 big FREE throws. And he started out slow, shooting. We were close. But their defense took us off our game. Defense stifles good offense. He (Cronin) failed to mention they played great defense against a team still getting to know one another. Yes New Mexico has new guys, transfers, much like us. But not the number we bave. I'm pretty confident this will help our team. Going 33-0 sometimes is not as meaningful as going 29- 4 because you might learn thimgs in those 4 losses that it needs to win March. Our big 10 competitors will get us more ready to face those challenges in March No need to panic. We probably cant beat UCONN this year anyways. But anything can happen. Go Bruins! On the bright side our football team is definitely improving. Turning around a season that looked bleak 4 games ago.

is that why they shout 26 PERCENT FROM THE FIELD IN THE GAME.
@nomasterabovemenoslavebelo36283 күн бұрын
@@eazye9991 How old are you, I know your mental age as far as understanding concepts to draw conclusions from data! The best in the game’s of baseball hitting fail 7+ times out of 10 on average. The majority of the NBA players shoot under 50% from the field. Sometimes the greatest shooters have bad games pct% wise! Go look at Steph Curry’s game by game breakdown. Averages/percentages are the average of all those individual games/shots. Now I know that might be outside your mental capacity to understand! Mick said that, we have a lot of shooters on this team. And say one guy might have a bad game sometimes the majority of a team might have a bad game! Why I even wasted time explaining this.... but you’ll have some ridiculous rebuttal! Which I won’t answer!

Cronin needs to start Andrews, Clark, Johnson and Bilodeau with Mara going until he picks up 2 fouls or gassed. Better get him more time with the first team before the Big10 games.

What a difference 12 months can make. MBB is now a way to kill time until spring practice.

Glad the Lobos took it to the bruins, I’m tired of name schools always getting preferential treatment in the rankings, in the big dance, and totally ruining the smaller conferences like the PAC12 just destroyed the mountain west conference. So, I’m really happy UNM beat the bruins like a drum…

I don’t care about preseason as long as Mick gets them developed by the postseason for a run, New Mexico is underrated and has an underrated coach, Mick has players that have been together for a couple months, massive player influx, when this machine gets clicking they better look out, Cronin will use this attention getter to focus and bring the team together he is excellent at player development…..the players need to execute the game plan and right now you can see a lot of players leaving the game plan and relying on their old habits, in preaseason you work the old habits out of them and get them to rely on the system, takes some longer than others

going forward, wonder if mick will try some small lineups? ucla bigs: punked by lobos' 22 & joseph.

@vinrusso821 front line players who did appear for ucla were worked by #22 & #23 for unm. zach said mara isn't yet ready for extended minutes. viewing highlights, clark looked winded (noted by mick in postgame). if ucla frontline plays like that in bigTen play? ouch.
@vinrusso8218 күн бұрын
Mara needs minutes big time. Dylan Andrews and Mack are bringing last years vibes. Mick needs to sit them. Andrews had 6 turnovers and Mack had 3 in 9 minutes.

Ok, coach! lol. What's your experience? None! But we'll listen to some rando on line with a keyboard! Sometimes the best players in the world fail miserably! But that unacceptable! You sound like the fanatics on the old SB nation Site! They were insufferable! Like you!

Wow. All this hoopla about the return of UCLA basketball. Bragging about Cronin running off kids he recruited for mercenaries who would compete at the top echelon of the Big Ten. Embarrassing.

Bilodeau’s inabilities on defense are apparent. Clark doesn’t know how to wear his uniform. We don’t have a special player that can lead us to a national title. Instead, we have a lot of good players. A lot of moving pieces. They need time to gel

Critic, the easiest job in the world and you're not even good at that. I'm sure the year they shocked the world and went to the final four you were whining early in the season just like now. Stop watching! And find some miserable people like yourself. More important things in life. Get one!

Just about every guy can shoot! you're delusional! A few big guys can't shoot like perimeter guys but that's not their job or specialty! You could have just been thought a fool but you opened your mouth and removed all doubt! Thanks! NOT!
