Looking back on it, the defense really didn’t play all that bad. That QB was just making plays. Defense lost contain on him a few times and should have gotten him down when they had the chance which is something to work on for sure, but some of those throws down the field were hard throws to make and the guy made them. Give him credit where it’s due. The game plan worked, keep him in the pocket and don’t let him run for a bunch of yards. Turns out he’s better with his arm than they thought, but we still won by 26. There’s some things to clean up for sure but overall can’t be too upset with how it went

The Lobos gave a really good effort in this game. They should be really proud of themselves! It is really hard to beat Auburn in a home game. Their fans are seriously loud and proud in their home stadium, but Auburn is beatable. Lobos gave them a run for their money. Lobos have to adopt the concept that whether they play at home or on the road, they can win, and they must give their best effort no matter where they play. They CAN do it!
