I like how in the story, Mirage isn’t too hurt by everyone else not showing up to his party, like Wraith being busy with her mystery solving, Rampart being too busy with her business, and Crypto just being Crypto is nothing new to him, but he was genuinely hurt by Pathfinder not showing up

Someone said that it’s possible Mirage’s condition is worsening and he never told anyone about the party, which is why they seem confused when he’s mentions it.

I think the reason no one showed up to mirages party is probably cause everyone is so busy with their lives and what they’re looking for or working on. If you notice in the story the new legend finds the other legends and they are working on stuff or worrying about their own feelings or lives. She talks to them then mentions the party slightly to them or hints of one and they are confused, like “What party does she mean” I feel like there’s probably a specific day mirage does his party for all the legends like during the week and everyone would go, but when you’re so caught up with life sometimes you forget there was a party on that day, which in the end points to the reason everyone gets confused there is one. See wattson fixes the new device and it turns out a way to contact Cryptos sister, Rampart and Obi are in a crowd with people that hates him. Each time she visits these legends they are dealing with personal stuff, but she mentions a party during their conversations, but no one knows or remembers. This is why I think they forgot the party, it’s on a specific day during the week mirage throws it all the time, before no one missed it now this time everyone has. What hurts mirage the most is that Wraith and Pathfinder never showed up, the two people he actually cares for the most.

But more serious, to the point where all the other legends notice and some of them miss the old Mirage, before he works through whatever is weighing on his mind and returning to his old self. I love Mirage and I just want him to be more than just the butt of the joke all the time. Some badass epic moments would be great.

It’s possible that he might change. He took it pretty hard that nobody but vantage came. Even pathfinder didn’t join and that hurt him even more. He can’t keep his fake persona up for ever. He’s gonna break eventually.
