Thanks Sophie. I Sampled it this week. … Soooo like Empress which is still my sig. fragrance because it can’t be beaten for lasting power and projection. The dry down of the two is almost identical, but I’m sticking with Empress for its sheer beauty and value for money and also because my hubby loves it 😁

My favorite Miss Dior is Absolutely Blooming. I have a nice big backup bottle for when I finish my current one because I was so sad to hear it was discontinued. I was hoping that this new release might fill that void for me when it’s gone, but it sounds like we’re better off buying Empress to get that nice lasting power/performance along with the callback to Cherie. ❤

I just ordered my new miss Dior today. Only thing I was a bit irritated about is it is only a 2.8 ounce bottle not the 3.4 for approximately 170 .. US$ My girlfriend got the early release and said it is absolutely beautiful. I have absolutely blooming which I love very much! excited to receive this. If it is stronger than absolutely blooming. I think I'll be happy with it. then I will work on getting your Empress perfume soon. Thank you for the review.

I just went to Sephora and Ulta and went fragrance sniffing! I fell in love with the new Parfum, and bought the 30ml bottle. I do not have any experience with earlier versions as I just got back into scents this year after a 30 year hiatus. The complex perfumes of the 80’s would always go off on my skin so I gave up. I just cant get enough of the newer (everything is new to me now… lol) fragrance available! ❤❤❤❤❤

I was waiting for your reviewof this, so thank you! Looking forward to testing it out. Also saw a 30 ml Absolutely Blooming in a store in my country going for 70 euro (discounted)! But I never smelled it before, so I'm not sure. I found Miss Dior edp from last year okish but forgettable, Rose 'n Roses was way too vintage smelling for me and new Blooming Bouquet was okay, but somewhat too musky for me. I would love a fruity scent in my collection though. I like Midnight Tresor and Mon Paris. So if Absolutely is it that vein, I would like it

Hi Sophie, thank you for your review. So sorry you don't like the edp 2021. I didn't like it in the beginning, found it non descript and not lasting, but after a couple months and especially during colder months I really started to be one of my favourites. Very long lasting and an incredibly powdery, ambery dry down. Maybe give it another try? Ofcourse, tastes differ. I also love Rose 'n Roses, don't like Absolutely Blooming, so maybe it's just a matter of taste. I do love this new Parfum as it is very uplifting and vintage in the drydown, ( I am 49;-))...Keep up your lovely work!

So far the only two Dior perfumes I like are Addict and blooming bouquet the older formulation. I haven’t tried all of them but I did not like miss Dior 2017 version either haven’t smelled the newer version EDP but I didn’t like the new parfum or absolutely blooming either. Maybe it’s just the miss Dior DNA I don’t like? But Dossier has their impression of blooming bouquet and it is spot on! And it’s the older formulation with the peony instead of sweet pea for $29!

First impression: It’s a slightly more complex absolutely blooming. Very comparable… It’s like Absolutely Blooming/Alien Goddess Intense mix. Seems to be equal intensity to AB as well.

I was never really a perfume wearer until I discovered (the new) Miss Dior EDP. Most scents are too overpowering for me. I’m not a big fan of like weedy floral smells, candied fruity smells, too powdery of smells, and I can’t stand patchouli unless it’s an incense stick lol. But this fragrance was a perfect blend of soft florals with a little bit of a creamy powdery undertone. I’m surprised you didn’t like it. I guess it just depends on your body chemistry too. It tends to smell even better on my skin than from the bottle. I get the roll on rather than the spray because it cuts the price in half. It’s been good to me 💖

My favorite version is Cherie( 2012 version) I also own absolutely blooming , blooming bouquet and 2021 one version as well. I tried the new version spayed it on the arm and scarf. The initial impression is very sweet with fruits notes which I liked however I didn’t like the dried down at all😢on me it became a very very warm and slightly incense scent from amber/ amber wood/ céder. I couldn’t see myself wearing it during spring and summer. Unfortunately It’s not for me. However I saw many positive reviews on French Sephora and Nocibé. It’s certainly a crowd pleasing smell.

Blind bought the 80ml directly from Dior yesterday and received my engraved bottle today. They work fast 😅 Only bought it because i heard from someone else it was like Cherie. Unfortunately all they have in common is the strawberry note. Smells nothing like cherie. (IMHO). I feel I've spent £140 on strawberry juice 😂 guess i need to give it a few more tries, but I'm disappointed.

Meh…I just tried out the newest miss Dior parfum and I was unimpressed. I mean it is a cute perfume but not what I was expecting. It was definitely underwhelming didn’t last long and their is a syrupy note in there I didn’t like, not sure what note that was. I don’t think it is worth the money or the hype and definitely not good value for your money. To me it is a strange scent like kind of smelled like a men’s cologne mixed with strawberry. When there are so many other perfumes available that are much less expensive and longer lasting. I much prefer YSL Mon Paris or Armani Si which is in the same scent profile.

Gads! I was repulsed by D’Or when I tried it on. Couldn’t wait to wash my arm. I like the light, milky-looking bottle version though 😅

I hate to tell you, but you have misunderstood what comprises a chypre fragrance. Here is the official definition: Chypre (pronounced [ʃipʁ] or [ʃipχ]) is the name of a family (or concept) of perfumes that are characterised by an accord composed of citrus top notes, a middle centered on cistus labdanum, and a mossy-animalic set of basenotes derived from oakmoss. Chypre perfumes fall into numerous classes according to their modifier notes, which include but are not limited to leather, florals, fruits, and amber.[1] Oakmoss as a base note is key to what makes a fragrance chypre...not the crap you prattled off...just so you now know.

This new miss Dior Parfum 2024 is so masculine after half an hour wearing it. It starts of feminine and turns completely into a man's perfume sprinkled with strawberries. I was expecting it to smell similar to old miss Dior mut unfortunately no... Aaah 😩

I love all the versions of Miss Dior but this new one is just so underwhelming! It's a sweetish smell, nothing pretty, nothing new, absolutely not worth the money. I was so sad when I tried it, it was supposed to be my Mother's Day gift! Thankfully I have two bottles of Absolutely Blooming and a huge 5 oz bottle of Miss Dior 2017
