I’ve always loved Dior perfumes from 50 years ago when they were actually “perfumes”! My first one was Diorissimo! But like all perfumes it’s very personal! It has to do with the body chemistry and interaction aka body odor! This new version is more eau than perfume! Very light and not long lasting! I still like it and wear it but can’t tell everyone they would love it because they may not! For example a perfume may smell good on me but not my daughter! That’s just the nature of perfumes! ❤❤

I absolutely love this new Parfum. It is so beautiful. I went to Ulta and sprayed it around 11:00 am at 11:00 pm my sons girlfriend said whatever your wearing smells so beautiful. I had already had a shower and hadn’t sprayed anything else on so she had to be smelling it on my hair. I thought the fragrance was long gone but obviously it was still there. Amazing scent and amazing longevity .

I am so looking forward to purchasing this as my Easter gift to myself , I love the idea of it containing an echo of a past fragrance but still being new and unique. I have long had a love affair with Dior fragrances as they conjure up such powerful visions through scent and highly recommend some of the Collection Privee scents I shall visit the south of France this summer through Dioriviera even though I likely won’t leave England !

Does Blooming B.last and project? What is your expirience, can people smell you?

@@ada-sg4xo It lasts for about 7~8 hours with body moisturizer 🧴 on. Without a moisturizer before the perfume maybe about 5 hours. People can smell me when they are quite close. It is not a strong fragrance. Perfume is very personal, it is about what you like. 😄👍🏻🥰💐💝

I need a bottle . I believe Francis Kurkdjian to be , one of the most talented modern perfumers . Everything he touches , turns to gold . I loved Miss Dior Cherie and the new Miss Dior EDP is an excellent perfume in its own right - v wearable which means a lot, in a practical way . Also , your hair is gorgeous ❤

Thank you for the thorough review comparing Dior’s Eau de Parfum and Miss Dior Parfum which I recently bought. The salesperson recommended this over the other one. I haven’t opened it yet because I also liked the Eau de Parfum and I was planning to retry them again until I was sure. I prefer clean and fresh floral scents. I have Dior’s Blooming Bouquet which I love but it doesn’t have the lasting power but it’s perfect for summer. With your review, I now feel I made the right decision. Thank you!

I love this video! The history lesson was very interesting. Miss Dior Cherie 2011 was my first love. I then bought Miss Dior 2012 (not the same) and have managed to get my hands on a big bottle of the 2011. Absolutely Blooming is probably my favourite of the line, the 2011 Miss Dior Cherie smells a bit dated to my nose now, 10 years on. I am looking forward to getting my hands on the new Parfum version.

Great review. Absolutely Blooming was a hit. I bought an extra bottle. I haven’t smelled the new Miss Dior parfum. I am sure that I will love it based on the notes. I am a huge fan of the Miss Dior line, I have the vintage Miss Dior in the EDT. I love that powdery and vintage notes in it.

Hi Angela. I am impressed with your knowledge of perfumes. I only know what I like or dislike. Never have use any Dior perfume. Only a few weeks ago got a couple of samples of “ New Look” which I believe to be for men but I felt in love and order the large size. Let me know if it is a men one. I won’t Vera. Thank you for your educational review. I always enjoy your videos. I had a sample when in John Lewis but sorry to say I really didn’t like it. To me it smelt heavily of strawberries and was very sickly. My favourite fragrances are from Sisley as they’re much lighter.

Hi Angeline Giselle :) I've tried almost all Miss Dior perfumes. I suppose you are referring to the Miss Dior Eau de toilette originale. They also have it as an extrait version. The Miss Dior originale is nothing like this new Miss Dior that I am reviewing here. Originale is full bodied mossy green floral. It's an intense chypre perfume with a very prominent Galbanum note in the beginning. It is wearable but it's quite intense. A little goes a long way. The initial spray is very heavy/intense green galbanum. Then as it develops the flowers come through - mostly jasmine and lily of the valley and then it settles into a rich vetiver moss and patchouli scent. It's a classic old school patchouli scent. If you like niche perfumes, I think you will like it. But it's nothing like this new Miss Dior parfum. xoxo

Very good video. I've been on the fence about purchasing. I bought the Blooming Bouquet a few years back and after a few tries gave it to my daughter because it was a young lady's scent in my opinion. But, this new parfum, reads beautifully. Hi Ada, the new Miss Dior parfum is definitely a signature scent. It can be used all year round; it's not just for spring/summer. It's feminine fragrance and gets a lot of compliments. The projection and longevity are excellent in my opinion. I saw you asked me about Blooming bouquet- it's one of my favorite perfumes but for Blooming bouquet I can say it's more spring - summer perfume and it's not very long lasting. A lot of people complain about the longevity. On me it lasts well but spray it also on my clothes and hair. xoxo

First impression: It’s a slightly more complex absolutely blooming. Very comparable… It’s like Absolutely Blooming/Alien Goddess Intense mix. Seems to be equal intensity to AB as well. Not masculine at all but I can see where some would say that. It’s not tho.

If they bring back Miss Dior Cherie as a special edition... it would be amazing! But Miss Dior Cherie was created by Christine Nagel and back then she was not Dior's in house perfumer so they don't have the rights to the scent. I think this is the main reason why the discontinued Miss Dior Cherie in the first place and appointed Francois Demachy as perfume director. (so they could own the rights to the perfumes that he creates).

I think Miss Dior Eau de parfum is too powdery especially after some hours. Blooming Bouquet and Rose and roses also have this powdery smell which is too strong and not fresh after some hours. But blooming bouquet is mild to me since it is a toilette. Overall, I don't really like Miss Dior fragrance.
