@@damiieenn1787 When you compare it to other games and studios, NetherRealm has always stuck out as having stiff animations, sometimes janky, with not very good silhouettes. This game looks better, but is still not a huge improvement when you compare stuff like SFV to 6 or GG Strive. If you were to put the new animations and on an MK X model it would look practically the same lol

@@alphacult6873 mk in general has more stiff animations but it always has. mk11 already looked extremely realistic. Obviously when you have a more cartoony art style its easier to see stark differences, especially with sf5 to 6 where they went way more realistic than 5.

They made it seem like a lot of the assist characters won't be in the main roster (outside of Sub Zero and Scorpion). So, Sonya AND Jax are both potentially not playable? That's gonna be kind of weird.

The jank/stiffness is a design decision to allow them to go nuts on the combos. I.e. the animations just stop rather then blending into the next move in combo etc. I just wish they would stop using Unreal Engine 3 (albeit heavily modded) and move onto UE4/5 to get the latest tech.

Never played mortal kombat but loved watching people play the story. This game with its combos kind of gets me to try it for the first time though. Especially the graphics… DAMN. And somehow for the first time they didn’t put out a trailer with a character having little to no clothes on. Respect to the devs.

I really hope that the licensed characters have fun movesets. My favorite part of MKX was playing the licensed fighters, especially Predator and Alien. But imo, MK11's licensed fighters just weren't fun to play as except for Spawn.

MK11 is 4 years old, fighting games get low player base fast, they never last for a super long time, if people didn't stop playing fighting games so fast then maybe someone out there would see a worth in supporting a fighting game for 4 years plus

Capcom invest in their games, and people play them years after. SF5 came out in 2016! SF6. Just came out 6 days ago. Which means they invested and balanced the game multiple times over a 7 year span. NRS released mkx 2015, mk11 2019, mk1 2023. They literally release almost 2 games per Capcom 1. Before sfv sf4 was released in 2008! That game got 8 years of play and still see tournament play. In sf, the game is well balanced. In nrs games, upper tiers beat the crap out of low tiers, and you sit there and pretend their games are balances. I play mk11 often, and anyone who has played mkx or mk11 faithfully will tell you it's not balanced.

It's good to see a real fighting game again based on actual out comes in real fighting even it today's softer over sensitivity womanfied tampon wearing times with the exclusion of me course I will never conform and I will never give in as both are wrong and only equal the end before that ever happens it'll be a cold day in hell the fatalities brutal and devastating as always they look magnificent everything of fighting games should have in it did you should have implemented sidestepping a little bit more and it's a masterpiece certainly beats the hell out of breakdancing and a woman's underwear being on the forefront hopefully snk has trick to top this number fighting game right now that much is clear and no dorky nerdy goofy trolls matter to me I make my own judgments I don't follow nor can I stand crowds
