I think we need career programs with new unlock-able items throughout the year. Example: Mike trout career program start with his draft card and update it with higher overall cards throughout the year. Have ten programs to pick from pick 4 kind of like the revolution we had in previous years.

For most of these ideas, I would need to see how they are implemented into the game. Some of the ideas sound really cool, but the way they implement them would be the main thing to look at. Like the purchasable perks could be something good, but I gotta see how exactly they plan on doing it.

Here’s an idea. To make equipment a lot more valuable and worth being excited for when pulling in a pack, allow us to equip them to a single card. Example: Say you have a Diamond Bat with +12 power and +12 contact making it one of the rarest equipments in the game therefore being extremely expensive to get, you can then equip this bat to any card but let’s just say Aaron Judge, therefore making his card better with those specific stats. To go more into detail, u can equip three different equipments on 1 card but can only be 1 specific equipment, so 1 bat, 1 glove and 1 ritual. Once u use that specific bat, it can’t be equipped to other cards unless it’s taken off. I think this would be a great addition as I feel like equipment has fallen off since they took out the option of collecting rare equipments to then unlock a card.

Something that would be insane is a fantasy card system. For example, in NHL games, when players score goals in real life they get upgraded by 1 ovr. So these cards release in the very beginning of the season and the > players start at a low overall. I think that this fantasy system would work perfectly with home runs.

A lot of these sound like 2ks MyTeam, but with baseball. 2k has good ideas, but they always spin them to get money out of you. I agree a new multiplayer game mode is much needed. The other stuff sounds like more cosmetic and show off kinda stuff, which I wouldn’t use myself, but cool if you do. Im hoping for great gameplay and a ton of new legends. Feel like SDS needs to nail 25, because the last two years have been less than stellar.

i think the cosmetics is a good idea, instead of releasing like 4 aaron judge cards though the year, they release one, keep tweaking his stats, and you can keep the same card, Ex: instead of getting finest judge, you get a finest judge card skin that tweaks a base judges attribrutes, kinda like maden

I think instead of the perks they should rework quirks so that they're a bit stronger and have a noticable impact on gameplay, but make the quirks earned through gameplay so your card represents how you use it

I think another cool implant could be where they have daily picks to choose from based on real life mlb games and you choose the winner and if you guess correctly you can earn a certain amount of stubs. (Eg “. The dodgers and Yankees are playing and if you chose the dodgers to win you could win like 100 stubs as a bonus)

The PSA thing was in 2k and it was fine. If I remember correctly it was just for looks and you had to send it off for MT and after like 1 hour it would give you a grade

We need more legends, there are so many players that people want they refuse to dish out the money for. Ted Williams, Ty Cobb, Ichiro, etc etc. With how much money SDS gets there really is no excuse to have the same player year in and year out. Kinda seems like they are out of touch when they are talking cosmetics when you not only have the legend issue but an outdated engine to which transitions me into my next thing. UPDATE THE DAMN ENGINE!!! There is no reason why a game from 2019 has graphics comparable to 2024. The vast majority of people have the next gen consoles and i feel like the experience suffers not being able to take advantage of that.

I like the PSA concept for people who like to collect. I feel like the difference should be cosmetic only, like the card looks cooler/special, but the attributes are the same. It would essentially function like a rare skin. If they make these cards have better attributes, that is very pay to win and is unfair to no money spent players. It would be different if those cards could earned by being better at the game like WS rewards or something, but just making pack cards better is something players already hate. Why double down on that?!

I’ve always thought that “Coach Cards” would be awesome. Like in Franchise, you can sign like a Dave Roberts, which gives you +2 Power and -3. Fielding, Or you could signa lower overall coach, and they give you more negatives than positives. And you could have fun with them. Make the Live Series Coach cards have a certain overall based off of the teams performance last year. And you could have a Retro Head Coach pack. For Example, A 99 Overall Tommy Lasorda. You can do this with a head Coach, bench Coach, 3rd Base Coach, 1st base coach, and pitching coaches. Like a 95 Overall Mark Prior.

I think they need to change the attribute scale. Instead of 125 max make it 250. So then players like Tony Gwynn and Wade Boggs have higher value. Max hitting and power should be ultra rare. Then Ozzie Smith would be a step above everyone else at SS. 200 and up would be end game type cards. They could still have the max 99 over all

I think it would be cool to do sit and go tournaments that cost Stubs to join and you can win stubs. Have it be an 8 team bracket and if you win 3 in a row you win stubs and other rewards. Full rosters available

Personally, I feel like we should have a slow buildup throughout the season, start at 90 diamonds and then accelerate throughout the entire year and end up with 99 as the finest. I liked the set up of MLB the show 21 the most, we shouldn’t have these sets and seasons. We should just have a slow build up into the mid/end of the season. I think that was the best way to do it.

I also have not received this email. However, after watching the video I think they need to focus a little less on the new content side of MLB 25 and have a heavier focus on gameplay upgrades. There has only been a few actual gameplay features put in the game with pinpoint and the new fielding meter. They also need to upgrade the graphics of the game because at the end of the day it still looks the same as MLB 21 did and now you have all these games coming out, including Madden, where it looks like you're watching TV and not playing a game with how lifelike the graphics are. I do like some of the content ideas but they need to work on actual gameplay as well.

Eh... I'm happy with the way cards are. I want bigger things to use the cards with. I love collecting the cards, and I *like* playing the Ranked (the #1 point of these cards), but I don't *love* it. So, I get the card, I'm happy, but then I'm like, "OK, so I guess I'll use it here?" Being able to have DD leagues with friends should be an option, and a big motivator for me. Having a signature offline mode that is actually engaging (NOT mini-seasons). Gimme an NBA Jam/Mike Tyson PO-type campaign that echoes Signature teams from way back. Early in the year, you have to beat the Live Series AL and NL teams, in order. In the middle of the year, you can have Signature teams or all-Decade teams that you have to go through. Have THAT be the way you earn Stadium cards. At the end of the year, you would have to win, idk, a best-of-21 series against the ultimate God Squad once all the cards are released.
