@@MarkoVujanic-P88 I apply the form back in August, in Ohio and then they said my interview were on 1/19/2021 but they cancelled it due to protesting, plus I moved to Iowa so they had to update my new address from Ohio to Iowa. The lady in the office told me the reason it takes long time is because there are many people who are schedule before me, so I gotta wait. I hope it answers your question

You will do great, just study well in advance, review your N-400 application ( especially part 12). Then you will be all set, wishing you the best! :)

Hi Juan! After your interview you will receive a decision by the officer. This decision will be either a granting, continuing or denying your Naturalization application. A "grant" means that, you have passed your interview, your application and supporting documents all have been approved and you met the eligibility to be a naturalize US citizen. A "continued" means that, the USCIS officer have put your case on hold, ( you might be ask to provide more information / documents / or either failed the English and civic tests ). A "denied" means that, your application for Naturalization have been denied for now and you will probably have to reapply( this could be for many reason, USCIS will send a written notice to you telling you why). Good morning! My Estimated case completion time was 5 months, I applied on October, this month is the 5th month. Instead of calling me for interview or have my fingerprints done, they change the date they add 5 more months to it. Now my estimated time is for August which gonna be 10 months of waiting. Do you have any idea about why they’re doing this to me ?

Hi Sowmiya! After your Naturalization interview if you pass then you will be scheduled for your oath ceremony and that can take weeks or even months. Some States do same day oath ceremony, you can find that information in your local USCIS office. Then after your ceremony you can apply for your US passport at your local USPS office. It could take weeks for you to gets your passport, if you expedite it, it might come even sooner. I hope this help, wishing you all the best! :)
