I knew about you guys. We went to your shows many times after New Models split - right up until you guys also split. Such a shame...so much talent. Those were the days!

I have the album too. I couldn't even count how many times we went to see them at the Boston clubs back then. Good times!

Yes. Michael played on these recordings but then left. Matt Thurber, brother of keyboard player, Stephen, joined the band and stayed until the breakup. Jesse Mayer of Fingerpaint, also a band with an MTV video, was Shake The Faith's drummer. Both STF EP's are now up on Reverbnation.

this brings back memories!! I saw them on open for rick ocasek. Think it as show in boston. Saw it on tv. I also saw them on a mini eastcoast tour at a New Jersey dive bar called Blondies in the 80's. I still have this album "sight and sound" somewhere at my parents house.

Ah, the summer of '79 and hanging out with the New Models. Steve, Casey and Michael were all great guys, too.

Man I loved this band.

@dwtime Haha - yes! Casey was a great front man/guitar player. Mike Johnson was an amazing drummer, too. I smiled when I read what you wrote, because I'd seen them sooo many times 'back in the day' that I knew exactly what you meant when you said "like a crazy crooked wire". Those were the days! Great band. Great guys. They were on the fast-track to the big time back then. If they hadn't split up, I bet they'd have been huge.
