Jill did have Dana's back this time. She helped Dolly in the beginning because she wanted to kidnap Daniela herself. But this time she was huddling and supporting Dana. Jill also protected Daniela from DeeDee several times the way Dana use to protect Brutus Jr. Maria was the one pretending to help because in the end she did not respect Dolly's and DeeDee's rank when she defeated DeeDee and pushed her below Jill in rank.

Actually Dolly is the only female that is not deformed and overweight. Its strange to see such obese animals concentrated in one area. That said, Dolly is attractive by long tail macaque standards. You’re waaaay over analyzing their intentions and what they are doing. These animals aren’t capable of complex thinking. Jill couldn’t comprehend the idea of handing a piece of food to Dana if she was starving to death, much less anything else… If they didn’t want Dolly or DeeDee near them and were capable of the level of understanding you claim then they would come together and push them out or just stay away from them altogether. Dolly didn’t bother any of them. She would discipline Daniela and the other young when it was needed, but also protected and cared for all of them just the same. Everything she did was for a good reason. Most of all she protected the troupe from outside threats, some could argue more so than the alpha males of the troupe. That’s why the females were always near her.

The females would groom each other more than they would DeeDee or Dolly. The females would not back Dolly on fights she would often fight on her own. Now Maria and Jill back each other up, while DeeDee rums away. Dolly would take quiet infants off their mother while they were nursing even sleeping. Dolly cause more problems than she fixed. She was the alpha she was the cause of this troops stress not the infants.

The excessive brutality of the tail dragging was unique to her also. It's funny how you would not acknowledge the brutal treatment she received during DeeDee's kidnapping including being slammed against rocks, multiple swollen lips, black eyes, bruises, and scrapes. None of the other 3 other infants at the time looked that way. The other 3 were also more filled out at 2 months. being dropped 10 meters from a tree. I don't remember Maci being brutalized that way. I know Maci did not want to be near DeeDee but she wasn't targeted like Daniela. Maddix was actually the target and he reacted with resistance and screams also. Also, Dolly tries multiple times to take her but against receiving no support from the females she had to go up a tree. If she had DeeDee there she would have been successful. They chased the killer away from the troop. Also, her problem was not being abandoned from the troop. There are videos of Jill, Popeye, Jessie Sherry, Ashley and even Maria holding her and caring for her. According to several reports from people who were there and investigated the VOs separated Daniela from her mother and did that day. And really there is a reason for the hateful comment. Look up Yardfish's series on baby monkey haters he makes an excellent case of how it is a fetish and much of it is the abuse is of a violent and often disturbing nature. And he outlines how it is related to other types of abuse and violence. He outlines really well how incoherent flawed the arguments are. And really Dolly and DeeDee get tons of hateful comments. So going by your own logic I must be right about Dolly and DeeDee.

She is not resisting half the troop. Dolly is getting no support to take Daniela that is why Daniela stays with her mother and isn't taken from her despite Dolly's attempts at taking her. Jill is helping Dana not Dolly. SOmething Jill did often. Jill would even position herself in front of Daniela when Dolly was approaching the females who were in a huddle. The tantrums are universal to these infants and it is an adaptation they are not unique to Daniela. The point is she was not getting enough nutrients. At two months she was not as big and filled out as Maci and the others. You can see it in the videos when Daniela is first born and those infants are about two months, they are plumper, their coats are already changing from black. Also, the fact that the females did not help Dolly take Daniela demonstrates how she lacked support and that she was the one who stressed the troop with her despotic style, not the infants.

Lol are you blind? Just look at the thumbnail, there’s two adult female monkeys ripping Daniela off the tit and neither of them are Dolly. And you say “Dolly was not able to take her”?? If Dolly wanted to take her she would take her and there’s nothing Dana or Daniela could do about it. If Dolly attempted to take her and didn’t it’s only because she didn’t really care to at that time. Of course all baby monkeys throw tantrums at some point, but the level and frequency of Danielas tantrums were unique to her. There was about 4 other baby monkeys in her troupe, none of which ever behaved as she did. Her behavior compared to Maci’s is night and day. I’m by no means a “monkey hater”, I enjoy watching a lot of these monkeys, but Daniela was absolutely unbearable. She’s also the only baby monkey I’ve seen attempt to steal food from the alphas even once, let alone on a regular basis. There’s one video of her attempting to steal fruit from Dolly 7 times before she’s punished and all while having her cheeks full of fruit. There’s other videos of her nursing while simultaneously trying to take food from Dana’s mouth, or letting herself off the tit to try to take food from others. It’s not a coincidence she was abandoned by the entire troupe so often and then attacked by them. Even those who weren’t part of the attack allowed it to happen, which isn’t normal. It’s no coincidence that she was abandoned and killed by a rogue male and that the troupe showed absolutely no reaction to her death. Normally they would have all attacked the killer but instead they realize who was killed and continue about their business as if nothing happened. It’s also no coincidence that so many commenters are of the opinion she was a disgusting, demon of a monkey. You won’t find another baby monkey on YT who receives so many hateful comments. At some point you have to come to grips with the fact she did something to deserve it all instead of it being one big coincidence.

Maria & Jill were putting Dana in her place as the lowest ranking mom among them. They often abuse the baby to abuse the mom. I have wondered if part of the problem was that Dana had a female offspring. Having a greater number of family ties in the troop can alter the mom’s ranking in the troop. Jill & Maria at that point only had male offspring.

The last video of Daniela shows her quickly looking 👀 for her mom but running away because her mom seldom had the chance to be her protector. I believe Dana was finally not returned to her troop because not only was she the lowest ranking but also the most severely abused by her own family.

Research has shown that high ranking females sometimes will target the infants of low ranking females to keep their numbers down. So as not to worry about the lower ranking females reproducing more and maybe rising in ranks and taking over. Also in this video you can see that Jill and Dana clearly have a bond. Jill did not give Dolly the backup she needed to take Daniella. Jill is actually helping Dana here. All that, the lack of loyalty and more populated lower ranking members is threatening to the higher ranks.
