My Mooncat nail polish order is finally here and I am so excited to try out and share my swatches of Mooncat's collaboration with The Powerpuff Girls! Overall, I dig! Except for....Chemical X, what are your thoughts on this famous concoction?

Chemical X makes sense for the inspiration. I have never been drawn to a flakie bomb in a black base BUT I knew I had to try it sometime. So it’s good that it was a PPG polish as my first black flakie jelly.

It's super dazzling, just underwhelming to me but I get that in the show, Chemical X is portrayed as a black liquid although in some episodes, it's a glowing light blue liquid so who knows but still, a cool polish!

Pretty polish but I'm so annoyed w them calling it Blossom's firebreath.. she has ice breath. Mojo jojo is my fave shade for sure

Oh wait, doesn't she have both fire and ice breath? I think it depends on the season winter/summer but yea the Mojo shade is everything ⚡

I wish Chemical X had a different base - like white or yellow or silver - I think that would have been more true to what I think of when I think of Chemical X.

Forces of evil is the one I don’t like as much from this collection, but I can see what you mean about there being other polishes out there that look like chemical x now that you mention it 🤔 Overall odd s cute collection though!

Definitely checks off the cuteness box. Forces of Evil is very loud & proud so yeah I can see how it can be one of those that either attracts or repels customers

@@KaetheStephanie It felt a little dull to me compared to pandemonium… That red has ruined red for me 🤣 I am thinking of trying to use it as a topper over it though, so I will have a use for it.

Oooh yeah, I get that. Once you find your favorite any color polish....all polishes in that color don't stand much of a chance 😂 happens to me with House of Hades, but I hope the topper option works for you 💅🏻
