Hey Foxy! Sub-Zero player here - to get a safe Klone setup in the corner, you use his air 112 string after a double B2. You have enough time to block Johnny's EX Shadow Kick - the 8-frame one.

After I listen to Foxy explain anything, I realize how most of us are actually playing only 2% of this game and we think the sun revolves around 45% 1 bar combos and unsafe moves into Kameo 😂

Hi! Been playing Sub Zero since 1992, and have over 400 hours invested in MK1. Yeah, the ice clone is good for combos, not for set ups. Just gets blown up. His Deadly Vapors as a "launcher" is complete ass. It's like a 1 frame link and scales horribly. You literally get 1% more damage with just doing his original combo with the meter burn DV. It's a complete ass "buff".

I think it would be a good buff if you could use it in mid screen and not just the corner. Subzero is already bugged in the corner anyways.

@@Lance.Gardenhire I'd like to see his regular DV act like his meter burn version, and have his meter burn version act like it did in MK9. They would be fair. Or just decrease the start up on his ice ball go back to normal so you can at least use it for combos.

I'm kinda sad that Sindel can still be punished if she does 2 screams in one combo in the corner. There is no reason to do a scream as a combo ender but she shouldn't be punishable on hit regardless. She got some good changes for synergy with Ferra though.

I was def using double whammy into spin kick on my Rain/Darrius setup & just adapting to not having access to kameo for a hot min.....that buff is clutch af

For Quan : • I'd give a much better hit advantage to his D1 so that he can jail even his 12f S2 but keep the 9f start-up. • I'd make D3 7f start-up (it may be low but it has less range than D1) but make it more minus on block (-9 maybe), • I'd make his D+F+4 hit in front and whiff only while walking or jumping backwards. I'd change the animation as well with the boot coming in front. • I'd make ex DB3 a mid not low but 1 bar launcher. Right now it's unusable.

I blame Sikander for all the Sub-Zero Retardation in the MK kommunity.. they all wanna act like Sik and they all wanna be the “hero”. meaning they seem to wanna struggle sooooo hard using a “SHITTY-TRASH character”. Sub zero is Mid tier. No characters really bad in this game. It’s what the player does with the characters that matter. And that’s why Sik’ does very well with Sub, because Sub is NOT TRASH and Sik IS good at the game.

2 questions for you. One, why do you never see Subzero in competition? And 2, why does Sikander always say that he's tired of using Subzero and that nobody would touch him if he was using Quan? The answer for both is that he is actually ass. Low damage, no frame traps, probably the worst pop up in the game, no special that is actually good, ETC.. This is what Sikander and every Subzero mains know because we actually use him in kombat league against the rest of the cast and deal with. And why do we use him? Simple. He is our favorite character lore wise. We want to use our favorite character, but it gets tiring to do so when you are playing better than your apponent and still lose because Subzero is ass. I actually put him down when Ermac came out because using Subzero is just exhausting.

I guess when you play MK11 Sub long enough, every character afterward is going to feel pretty bad 😂
