Everyone has seen the beautiful old historic metro stations of Moscow, even Tucker Carlson was shocked when he saw them! I’ve already filmed a video about the old ones…So this time, I want to show you the NEW and MODERN Moscow metro stations! 😍 Just last year, 10 new stations were added, and one even goes all the way to the airport Vnukovo! Making it the only metro inside an airport in all of Russia. ✈️ These new stations have a very futuristic and sleek design, which definitely makes me believe that Moscow is the future! Some even reminded me of Star Wars 🌌 Foreigners in Russia definitely need to check these out! And you can even have some pancakes if you get hungry 🥞 Let me know in the comments below which metro station was your favorite! ❤️
Stay up to date on my adventures, don’t forget to like 👍 & subscribe! 🔔

Oh my god! I'm flabbergasted. Here in Paris the metro is so bad in comparison. Very dirty, very stinky, homeless people pee and poo all over the place, insane people shouting for no reason are common here. But what's very paradoxical is that most French people who watch the media think that Russia is that dark, filthy, poor, unfriendly, misogynistic, racist and dictatorial place where no one would want to go to. As for me, I want to visit Russia und learn Russian, because I don't let myself get indoctrinated by the stupid press.

In the US, a subway is the last place I would want to go. They are dirty, smelly, and full of psychopaths and drugged out people. But in Russia, they are beautiful; bright, clean, and they look very safe. OMG! That bliny machine was so awesome! I've only got candy, chips, or crappy coffee from machines. Wow, I would never think you could go to a metro and have a good time just in there. I am envious of you and the people who get to see it. As if I didn't want to live in Russia enough already.

After watching this video and others on Sasha's channel, you should think about the truthfulness of the information that you have been presented with about Russia all your life. And whether it's worth believing your media or, after all, it's better to believe your eyes. The best thing is to come and see everything for yourself and think a little about "freedom of speech" and the truth. In the meantime, you can look at other sources. For example, Traveling with Russell, or the Russian Code. There are a lot of real stories there too.

I visited Moscow back in 2019 and their metro was something special. I mean, I am familiar with NY subway first hand, so you can imagine. And the most amazing part is that digital clock at the each end of the station. When that clock hits 0 train arrives, every single time. How can they do it? One day I spent almost an hour waiting for the train that was running late in NY subway and these guys running their trains only 2 minutes apart and they are +- 10 seconds on schedule.

Hi Sasha, those metro stations are beyond beautiful. I grew up in Boston, MA. The Boston City train system is one of the oldest in the country. There is never a day that goes by when someone is assaulted by some deranged nutcase hanging around the stations. Those stations are littered with graffiti and trash everywhere you turn. Let's not forget the Rat infestation. Also, I watch the Boston news stations, and it seems like there is some shutdown every other week due to another maintenance failure. I have visited the New York subway system, and those stations are as bad as Boston. I'm sad to say that many Americans don't care about state/city properties.

@@PutinToPrison When I visited the Soviet Union 42 years ago, the Russian word for "peace" was seen everywhere. For example, the Cosmos Hotel, where we stayed, was on Mir Prospekt. Russians revered peace then, and it is the same now. They especially value domestic peace: They do not want their country torn apart or invaded. That's why they do not want the word "peace" used to divide people and foment opposition. Russia's 24 Feb 2022 intervention was not something that anyone wanted, but Russia had no choice. It was solidly committed to saving the lives of the people of the Donbass, and, after eight years of diplomatic effort, there was simply no other way to stop the escalation.

The best thing about Moscow its like the city has taken the best from both worlds. They have the beautiful classical architecture, Art Nuevo decors, different historical sites (instead of just boring glass and concrete cubes for buildings in other so called "modern" cities) and at the same time the highly advanced public transport, futuristic infrastructure, electrical river AVs, delivery robots and so on. Add to that cleanliness, safety, number of cultural events and pretty affordable life and you will probably get one of the best cities in the world for living.

How can I tell you?..I have lived in Moscow for 20 years. In addition, I have traveled around the world. I have not been to the Americas (neither northern nor southern), but I have been to 11 countries. I have been to Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Turkey, China, Tunisia. I can tell you that Moscow is the most modern, comfortable, safe city I have ever seen. But there are also disadvantages. It is a northern city. Cold. Our winter is cold, snowy, with ice and lasts 5 months.. .Moscow is wonderful in the summer. Parks with ponds and ducks. Moscow is a very green city. The most advanced in terms of digital technologies. Come! We welcome guests. But only in the summer!

Awesome video! 😉 I'm from Serbia and I travelled to Moscow in September 2023: I really didn't know about many of these stations. Though I took a ride between Vnukovo airport and my hotel Izmailovo, I remember it was 8A line. I was unaware that Vnukovo is connected to the downtown area of Moscow via metro. I knew about Aeroexpress trains from my trip in 2021. Anyway, it's awesome and I used it 3 or so days after it was open. 🙂

Wow, what a gorgeous video. And the music is actually moving and inspiring -- if people are expecting bland "elevator music" they will be disappointed! Captivating! So, when will we see a subway line to Sheremetyevo Airport? This is where my plane came in 42 years ago, on my first, and unfortunately last, visit to Moscow. This is where our little tour group met our devoted Intourist guide, Elizaveta D.. This is where the greatest adventure of my life began. We were only in Moscow for a few days, but that was enough time for me to fall in love with the city. There was so much that was glorious in Moscow, but what tipped the scale for me was the sight of Pushkin Square: What other city honors poets in this way?! From Moscow, we went onto Kiev, at the time a peaceful friendly city with lots of parks, and we left Moscow by way of Vnukovo. So your videos bring back the fondest of memories. My favorite station? -- that would have to be the station with the "Soviet" appearance, Davidkovo. But it's not the station that is fabulous: It is the heart of a society that reveres its roots and celebrates human achievement.

@@SashaMeetsRussia I was being facetious about Sheremetyevo, of course: That is surely "a bridge too far"! The money should be spent instead on helping the people of the Donbass and Syria and Gaza and Yemen. Eighty years ago, humanity took part in a titanic struggle, and now we have returned to that struggle, for the last time, I hope. In your channel, you show us what can be achieved when we free ourselves from the war addiction, but in the end this is not about subways. This is about serving humanity with all our hearts.

@@millamilova5417 I fervently hope that Russia can revive that special era, so that we can all visit and have glorious memories. I see the "Soviet Union" reforming as a worldwide union of countries that are under siege by the U.S. Empire, countries like Syria and Venezuela that are enduring economic strangulation. I think the struggle against the Empire is what makes people appreciate humanity and develop spiritual resources. Communism was spiritual without being religious: Recall the glorious parades and the World Youth Festivals!

10:25 Lol at not having enough budget for this station but it's still fancier than metro most stations in the world. 😅

Hey, I have a proposal for your future video: in Wikipedia I read the article 'Moscow Urban Renewal Initiative' that is undergoing in Moscow and it means demolition of 5000+ older kKhrushchevka buildings in which 1.6 million people live and building much better-looking and better-quality novosoika buildings. Can you make a video about it? Like, for example, before and after photos, how those new buildings look like... etc. I'm interested to learn more about it and I'm sure many other viewers would be interested in that. 🙂 Greetings from Serbia, Novi Sad! 🙂
