New Mud-Skipper Feather Lite R surface drive mud motor with reverse coming soon

A mud motor replaces a traditional outboard, using a surface piercing propeller and an air cool engine to get your flat bottom boat into places that outboard will go!!
Introducing the feather light R - our latest surface drive with reverse
Big, big news this afternoon!
We are very happy to release some information on our newest surface drive - The Feather Light R - with reverse!
Of course, there are lots of details and unknowns at the moment but here are the best and most important features and details to know!
▪️Will fit engines 15hp to 22hp with 1” crankshaft
▪️Will be available as a kit that you can bolt to your own engine or one of ours (or ready to run if you prefer)
▪️Will have reverse
▪️Will have manual trim
▪️Should be under 200lbs with a 15-18hp engine
▪️ Will be adjustable or available in both short shaft and tall shaft transom options
▪️Hopefully available by late fall 2024
▪️Price - TBD. We don’t know yet…and won’t ballpark the price - sorry. It will be more expensive than the current Feather Lite, that much we can say
▪️ This product is a new design. You will not be able to retrofit your current Feather Lite to include reverse
