Just a bit of misconception I guess. People think of graffiti as of words and stuff like that, while it's just a part of it. Murals are also part of graffiti (at least when murals are made with spray paint). Murals and graffiti are not in the same category, thus they can't be mutually exclusive.

Los murales son muy bonitos y hacen que Mariúpol y demás ciudades rusas se vean más hermosas. Los murales de los artistas rusos son mucho mejores que los grafitis de las ciudades occidentales y ucranianas, lo cual refleja la unión y bienestar de la sociedad rusa frente a la de los países "occidentales" o autodenominados "civilizados". Sometimes artists use portable elevators, like the ones used for power line maintainment. Sometimes they're actually industrial climbers, so they hang on a cord and paint the mural from top to bottom.

@@ArheIy I know how they did it logistically. Don't know how they drew it the proportions and all. You have to be pretty far away to see what you are doing

@@harkbelial ah, that's pretty simple. The art is first done on paper or digitally, and only then painted on the building. Also, quite often the artists have a support team that corrects them from the ground. I've also heard of using projections as a base, but haven't seen it myself.
