That is really great: Just got back from an awesome *RIOT V* gig tonight and still ecstatic, so I put this video on and you are talking about the fantastic new *"Mean streets"!* 😀WOW, what a wonderful show we just saw - yet again! ( saw them now 5 times total as Riot V) and that on a Wednesday night and it was packed! And yes, Brendon, sure they are five members, they have always been. But they had a tough week: Frank (Gilchriest) just flew in this morning from New York as the other drummer (who was a stand in guy for him...) got so sick (ill) he couldn't play! Todd told me their merch guy did play 6 songs on drums and the drummer from Tailgunner (who were supporting them) did 4 songs at the two shows yesterday and before and I think two other guys couple songs! What I really appreciate the musicians in Riot do remember and recognise you and their friedlyness comes from their heart! No attitude at all! No Rockstar-Bullshit! And I am thankful they did play a Rhett Forrester era song! Besides lots of old stuff an old-school guy like myself wants to hear... 😅 @Brendon: Also I am really recommend the *Tailgunner album - Guns for hire!!!* to yourself!

Chicago has two box sets of all their albums. The neat part is the second box that has bonus tracks not on the albums if you buy them individually, remixes and stuff.

Yeah I saw that but you know me and my preference for jewel cases. I’ve appeared to collect them all individually. It will cost more perhaps but I’ll enjoy them more too.

@@BrendonSnyder about the only major issue with the Chicago “Complete Albums” sets is that the second set is currently the only way to get the legendary “Stone Of Sisyphus” album at the moment…the jewel case edition has not been available for years.

I got Amerikan Kaos- Armageddon Boogie cd in the mail yesterday from Rock Kommander Store. Jeff Waters went all Boogie Rock mixed Pop Metal. Jeff Waters got vocalist Chandler Mogel, drummer Brian Tichy and keyboardist Bob Katsionis while Jeff does all guitars & bass.

For me i own the very best of Chicago only the beginning 2 cd set from 2002. Its all the Chicago that i wanna own. I purchased it for myself but the disc ended up in my wife's cd collection instead. I was ok with that.

Fun stuff. I loved the first StarCastle album (I was around 15 in mid-seventies.) BTW - There was a sixties band called Gun with the Gurvitz brothers. Check it out. (Bonus - Roger Dean early cover) Peace on earth.

Hey Brendon, I have the new remastered edition of wildest dreams from saga and the sound quality is amazing so it does exist and definitely worth it if you can find it. It must have sold out pretty quickly cause the original version that you have has been out of print and hard to find anywhere so you were lucky to find it

There was some licensing issue that prevented Wildest Dreams getting a US release in 2021 when the Ear Music reissue campaign was in full swing. Hence the remastered version was only released in Europe.

Throwing shapes is an excellent saga album!! Also loving the new riot5 , like you said it’s more hard rock than the other two but still has fast and furious power metal elements, really melodic

Generation Radio is excellent. All Night To Get There is such a good one! Jealous of the jewelcase Riot V. I was a little worried when I heard that they had changed the formula a little, but it's a very good album.

Love how Gun, Sonic Universe and Hall Aflame all keeping that great 80s hard rock sound alive unlike the new Sebastian Bach who is another 80s guy trying to adopt that terrible modern metal sound along with one of the worst album covers of all time.

I can't get into Sebastian Bach since he left Skid Row. I don't think he or Skid Row are better for the separation even though the last Skid Row album was really good.
