I’ve just completed the top row today - brightened up a dreary weekend here in the UK 😂. My first full size kit, thought I’d go for challenging then everything after will seem easier! Loving it so far. My only comment would be that it would benefit from the corresponding border, greyed out, being printed on each day’s paper copy to make it much easier to keep track of where you are.

Yes we ASKED Oronoco (Heather) for a Christmas design that wasn’t traditional. But still festive. We provided a grid line to get something interesting in every square 🥰 We are working on full pattern keeper compatibility for future designs… we can’t promise, but we ARE working on it 💜

I was just taking a break from Day 2 when I realized you put a video up. I absolutely love doing these. I did last year's Advent. I use Markup R-XP. I think the part of my brain that does these fell asleep for the year, because it was a bit to get going again last night, especially using Markup again. One word of advice from someone in the group for these is to do the border for the day after you do the day. It's not like last year where your border is obviously a border, and doing a bit here and there will throw off your counts. I have other pictures I am working on, but now all I want to do is this.

I have never done one of these kits but I like the idea of completing small sections at a time to reveal a larger picture.

This was interesting. I watched your beginner video and once I saw that the colours matched the DMC numbers, I saw that diamond painting could use cross stitch charts (and vice versa, really) Will be glad to see how it ends up!
