Maybe it’s just me but I think it still looked pretty damn good after you had worn it for 14-15 hours. I feel like it’s unrealistic to expect your foundation to be 100% perfect by the end of the day. Companies shouldn’t claim their products are transfer-proof/resistant, but consumers should also have realistic expectations too. As long as you don’t look like a wreck after 8 hours I’d call it a win.

I think you should try it without any primer as many time longwear foundations adhere better to un-primed skin. Sometimes the silicone in a primer can make some foundations transfer. Just worth a try.

I have pretty normal to combination skin and I love how this foundation looks on me! I use it with the nars primer, nars concealer and nars setting powder and these products work super well together. The only complaint I have is that I’m a ballet dancer which means I sweat a lot during the day and if I don’t put enough powder, the foundation will definitely transfer when I touch my face. But if I put enough powder it’s usually fine. Overall I really love this foundation but I know we have completely different skin types❤️

Every fucking foundation is geared towards oily and combination skin these days. Literally, the ONLY foundation that works for me and doesn't accentuate texture, because yes, boo boo, most foundation geared towards dry and mature skin settles into every fine line and makes pores look the size of Kim kardashians ass. This foundation is EXCELLENT for Asian skin. Since this was created ive been very happy! Excellent blend the orangey tones compliment our olive skin and it comes out clear with great coverage, blends really well and gives it a bright finish on your skin. If I use rimmel for example it will make my skin look grey because I'm Indian whereas it might work wonders on someone who is more fair skinned. When I wear loreal it doesnt do nothing for me either especially under the eyes. So each foundation is different and Nars is great for Asian skin tones! Fact- its an excellent foundation.

I'm glad I did not purchase Nars Radiant Foundation. I tried a sample of it along w the concealer from the same brand and I must say I am not fan either. My skin is combo (dry /oily t zone). It enhanced every pore and fine line of my face. I'll keep using my Loreal 24 Hr Fresh Wear, which is way more affordable plus I can grab it easily at the drugstore.

I tried this foundation before I watched your review and wanted to watch people's reviews to see if anyone had the same experience I did! And you are the only one so far that has been honest! I have oily combination skin and even after 2 hours, it started looking cakey and separated so horribly on me! Since it actually specifies to apply it with your fingers, I think I would try that with a NARS primer, using the "one pump at a time". Maybe the warmth is what is needed to get it to really melt into the skin?

Just a thought that actually came from some Living Proof hair mousse that requires heat to get the best hold and volume. Plus..I know using only one pump at a time would drive me nuts!! It seems like it would take so much longer to apply. Hate that it did not work out for you! FYI...I am LOVING my Nikkia Rose Setting Spray and I can not WAIT for my lashes to get here!!! Heidi Aguilar no they just add ingredients meant for the specific formula.. any long wear foundation should be fine for oily skin , yet with normal to dry , we need more Radiance & hydrating ingredients.. I just got this and have normal to dry , it did Cling bit but I didn't get oily at all . Ima try it with less prouduct .. fave right now for my skintype is Tarte Rainforest.

I am oily no combo and I love this foundation. I use the too face sweet peachy matte primer... I set it was my MAC powder and it’s been 10 hours and my face looks good. Yes, I had oil come through around hour 6 but I looked hydrated not oily and greasy. I recommend a good primer and setting spray if you are oily like me. YES, I am oily but I don’t always want to look matte and boring. I hope this helps someone because the foundation is really beautiful.

I have this foundation and I found from other reviews as well that this foundation works better on dry skin as it’s more prone to transferring. If you have oily skin it will just cause the foundation to seperate and transfer 😢

I have dry skin and I love this foundation. I love to apply this best with a brush, my makeup stays on for the whole day. It does not emphasize my dry patches, I really love this product and I dont use primers when applying this. Although, I do say that it does transfer however I dont really set my face with powder.

I have dry/combination skin. I tried this foundation and it looked so good on my face but I have to say that you have to apply it little by little or it will get cakey. Girls, hope my sharing will be helpful for my oily skin girls out there. I had Nars Aqua Luminious and it lasts all day! Transferproof and waterproof, but at first I quite hesitate because it does feel oily in texture. Im afraid that my skin will looks like a grease ball. And then, a few months ago, I bought the new one, Nars Radiant and it transfers everywhere! Mousse texture, not runny at all, I thought it will be much better than the Aqua. So I tried mix it with my face oil. And suprisingly, it stays all day! It doesnt budge at all. And my skin stays fresh and natural for more than 6 hours. Now, I use oil as my moisturiser and primer. Our skin produce more oils because it is dehyrated, thus face oil helps in lessen the oil production and keep our skin hydrated. It works well for my oily skin.

All nars foundations are meant to be applied with fingers which is why it says specifically on their website. If the pigment spheres are not broken down with the warmth of your fingers and if you apply too much product it will break apart and separate. Which is why it did that. A beauty blender will cause that after a few hours.

Jetta Justinian this is their best most natural looking foundation. I would say it's a solid dupe for luminous silk foundation. As a makeup artist I would say but it if you want a natural finish of foundation that will hide your imperfections. If you want the fake beauty guru look this product is not for you!

Other people have tried this foundation with the NARS primer. I’ve heard that there can be primer compatibility issues with NARS foundations. Have you tried wearing the foundation again over the matching NARS primer? I’m curious to see how it would work with oily skin if you did. I got a sample and THANK GOODNESS I DID! I have oily skin as well and foundation has always been a problem for me to wear all day. I had the same issues, after a work day the foundation was breaking up around my mouth and nose. So far none has surpassed my double wear but close to taking its place has been Fenty and Laura Mercier's new foundation.

Ana Luísa Videgoi - it could be, but in general, a product should relatively work independently of the amount, cause no every person applies makeup in the same way. Some people also need more coverage than others. I normally stay away of finicky products that their use is hard to control.

I actually like this foundation a lot! I think its meant more for dry skin because i have super dry skin and it looks good all day. Also, do you wear setting spray? Because that could be a problem too.

Thanks for the honest review Nikia ! I was looking into getting this one. Nars All day luminous foundation is one of my fav . Does sheer glow have a good coverage as I do have blemishes n some scarring on my skin . Love u loads ! 😘😘😘

Was looking forward to trying this one. But none of the nars foundations work for my oily skin. Beautiful finish though. I am currently mixing Nars sheer glow and ELDW. I like the finish from sheer glow and the longevity from ELDW. Wondering what your thoughts are on the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion foundation. Thanks! 😊
