Love the way it turned out on you. You and me are the same complexion and I can tell you now in case you haven't already tried that marquises is very warm. It gives a potent orange/red color. I hated it!

Hi my love !! I recently ordered it. Im nerves to try it now based on your review of it. New Caledonia was a great shade for me but I do feel like it was a tiny bit to dark. So if Marquises doesn’t work then I will stick to New Caledonia. Thank you for the heads up boo 😘🥰

@@vcoles5230 It's always a good idea to try for yourself. I wish I would've advised to go to Sophoria or Macy's to get a free sample. When I wear the New Caledonia, I have to apply concealer in order to even out the dark tone of the foundation and it looks great. Good luck with marquises though. I'm sure you'll make either shade look amazing 😊.

I got a sample of the foundation in New Caledonia and it was too dark for me, I did like how it had my face looking, I’m debating purchasing it because I love NARS products just not sure the shade, your makeup turn out nice.

I mentioned s that I felt Néw Caledonia was more of a summer shade since I’m currently really tanned. I definitely recommend you trying this foundation out though it’s really amazing once my tan fades I’m gonna go back and order a different shade because I love it so much. Order a couple of shade and find the shade the best matches your complexion and you will not be disappointed

V Coles no, I know you mention that as well just was stating that because I think you’re lighter than me so I was thrown off that it still don’t look as dark on you even with your tan in my opinion.

I have oily/combo skin also and I use the Hard Candy hydrating grip primer (dupe for the milk hydro grip) you should most def give it a try. I also got the LM powder to review. Can’t wait 🥰

I purchased this foundation I'm in the shade Huahine. I love this foundation and I have dry skin! It has a satin finish I feel and so even though it's matte there's still some luminosity. I hydrate really well before wearing this and I use the elf poreless putty primer which is also hydrating so my face doesn't feel like it's going to crack into pieces wearing it. It's my go to for everyday wear now

Try the new Rare beauty setting spray. It’s so hydrating, and give the skin a cute glow. Ive been using it every time I wear a Matte foundation. The Milk hydro grip setting spray was good also .
