Love the channel. I am an old male that followed her Dad back in the day now follow both Haiden and Hailie. Wish them both the best and was hoping she would go to Xfinity and tear it up. Second time maybe if she gets a good car. She brings viewers for sure. I never ever ever watched an xfinity race or a truck race until she was in it.

I'm a Deegan family fan and she's just one of them. Hayden is a mad man on a mission in Moto and I've been watching him since he was 8 or 9. Grew up watching the General! I honestly think Nascar is pretty lame but Hailie got me interested and now I watch a little cup stuff and am paying attention and enjoying it.

I really felt like any team she was on. was more of a money grap than helping her succeed.. ​@@chrispix61I agree with you 100%. Hailie finished second in two SRX races, both times losing to Tony Stewart. After Hailie finished 2nd to him at Eldora last year, Tony said that Hailie is a great dirt racer. Hopefully, she can display that same level of talent in Haas' Xfinity car next year.

SRX was an exhibition against half retired drivers in spec cars with "fun" cautions. Not 300 mi plus races in a 130 degree cockpit. She's got a lot prove at the Nascar level. I wish her well!

As a 74 year old Nascar Fan I have seen many drivers come and go. Saw Danica Patrick be the fastest car at Martinsville only to be wrecked by Denny Hamlin. Hailie Deegan with proper guidance can be “THE GIRL “ that takes on all the Denny Hamlins in Nascar and teaches them that they too can be targeted by a better driver!!

It's not even about Hailie being a girl, woman or a female. One word "Genuine" . Hailie let us into her apartment, took us on the trip when they bought a home on her tracks in front of her house. Let's us virtually hang out on her familiy's lake. Let us race go carts. She took us on a journey over the past three years. Let us get to know and hang out with her husband Chase. Shop tours. I also love Miller from the old vlogs!! They all just opened their arms and life to us to watch on KZbin. Its the first time I followed a driver since Tony Stewart left. Tony was always "Genuine". So that is why I am a fan of Hailie and will cheer her, Chase and her whole team on through the bad times or the good times.

I still don’t get everyone saying too much into her social media. Every race car driver lives life. All of them are doing something during the 24 hours every day and it’s not always racing. She just lets us see some of the things that she does the others don’t Because they don’t want dumb dumbs saying they aren’t committed. She does the same things everybody else does and Chase as far as I know does the editing. What if Larson were to drive go karts one week would that mean he’s not committed and then the next week he went camping for two days does that mean he’s not committed I guess if he put it on social media then he wouldn’t be committed. Hailie Deegan isn’t setting there after our editing video. She’s just living her life like everybody else.

I think HD has potential. 1) She brings money - and money will get you a seat (it always has - so get over it) and she's a pro at interviews and repping a sponsor. So she brings all the off track stuff a sponsor wants. 2) Driving wise - I think she needs to work on communications with the team - being able to explain what she feels in her ass when she's in the car so they can improve the vehicle. 3) Wheel time and a mentor. You don't get to practice real world as you did years ago. Now it's all sim. She needs to sneak over to Rockingham (a great track) with her crew, her spotter, and a veteran and just build her team - get everyone on the same page. 4) In lower series - she's shown composure and competitive spirit. I think mentally she's got what it takes - but maybe not yet the confidence to push herself or her equipment. Right now - I think she's relying too much on "what the car will give me" versus "what can I get from the car". She may have #30 equipment - but she needs to work at getting "three spots" as a driver. When to be aggressive and when to be passive (but NOT let herself be pushed around on the track). I'm not certain she does a good job of protecting her spots as much as someone more experienced would do. Anyway, we will see

I too disregard three years in trucks and ARCA in competent equipment and also disregard Moffitt with AM last year. I mean, AM is awful, they should've been in the championship 4 last year instead of underperforming with only one t5 and nine t10s in their first year with Moffitt. Obviously that's why they moved to Deegan, to get the program back on track.

Everybody brings up the 15 car but never talks about the three years in the truck series 2 years with a quality ride. Her last year was a great ride with a championship crew chief she was so pathetic with 10 races left her crew chief went back to Ben Rhodes and won a championship. what’s that say about her? Remember Janet Guthrie they gave her second and third tier cars until the questions started getting asked. Deegan seemed at her best in a Toyota, while not a Yota fan myself it is a valid observation. I wonder if her performance with DGR and AM has to do with the culture at the Blue Oval!

Hailie is STILL a DEVELOPING driver. She needs a development team like Junior Motorsports did with Danica Patrick. A team that knows how to train young drivers and relate to young drivers, not expect an inexperienced driver to be Kyle Bush or Denny Hamlin out of the gate. If she were a dude who qualifies 15 on back every week it's a non issue. Because she's a girl in the sport, qualifying 15th on back and finishing those spots is looked at as poor performance because of the optics that are so heavily on her. The girls get used up by midpack drivers and wreck them on purpose, that simple. Hailie has a future in Nascar, but a team is going to have to be willing to take her there for the long run, whether it be a 11th place finish or a 36th place finish every week for at least a solid 5 years. Even then top performing drivers like Denny WILL Bully her just like Denny did to Danica. I really would like her to succeed but lets be real, this is a male dominated sport that one of the few bastion Boys Clubs left and these drivers are protecting every point they have for their sponsors and if that means wrecking the girl for a 23rd place spot, They Will.

The reason I'm fascinated with her is maybe because of the fact she has done the social media work, she has shown her life behind the scenes. She seems to be a really good person, very grateful. She is very talented driver, she just needs a little coaching, more track time. I love the fact she races dirt, but she needs to be with a good team that will stick with her and work with her. She needs a crew chief that can learn to communicate with her, she needs to make adjustments too. I keep saying in her instagram that she needs to race as much dirt as possible where she can learn to drive from the seat of her pants. If she can learn that, she would take a huge step forward. I would like to see her in a Super Late Model. I don't like that she will still be with Ford. Ford developing young drivers has never been good. I would like to see HAAS switch to Toyota's. I think that would give both his Cup and Xfinity Programs a boost. If he did switch to Toyota, he could sign Corey Heim and Deegan and have two very competitive drivers in the Xfinity series that has the talent and have the anchor with Custer in the Cup Series. If he doesn't switch, Ford needs to step up their lower series programs. Quick stealing the talent they have from the other two manufactures.

Your absolutely right. What might be a good thing though is if all 3 of them can get rides. That would ease some of the pressure off of just being the solo girl in Truck/Xfinity, now the optics are not just focusing on a single individual highlighting every flaw. Also a few more girls in the series would make the men have to stop wrecking them willy nilly because more teams will be calling the other teams owners calling out thier shenanigans telling them to lay off and stop wrecking them/using them up just because their a female driver.

Robusto is 20 years old now, has a total of 7 career ARCA starts, 3 top 5's, zero wins, led laps in a roce one time, and has no local (Charlotte area) wins in several years. Robusto had to sit out most of last year because she drove herself into a wall at Hickory trying to make a moce that no driver had ever tried to make in the 50+ years of racing there. If you are racing ARCA you had better be winning at a 50% clip if you are going to make it as a professional stock car racer. Jade Avedisian has an impressive record in Midget racing. But this season she has ZERO wins, 4 top 5 in 25 feature races despite factory backing. Again, NOT even close to earning a full time paid professional ride. Both a free to buy a ride, neither has the funding to do so.

Kenny, i think your abbreviated response to Rusty does really represent a lot of the conversation with Deegan: Rusty: "she didn't run well in trucks" Kenny: "well, whatever..." I don't think many even care about her performance... There can always be 15 circumstances against her which are the reason she underperformed. About the Berry performance at Pocono. He got a flat under green and went laps down. Then at IMS he got caught in a wreck while in 10th. These would be two totally different stories depending on the driver in these two races: Berry driving: "Ha, told your Deegan wasn't the problem, AM is awful" Deegan driving: "Deegan can't catch a break, the driver's around her are awful (copy/paste comment from trucks & Arca), and AM is Awful" Of course we can totally disregard Deegans mediocre performance in competent equipment while in trucks and Arca, and disregard Moffitt's run with AM last season w/ 10 t10s. Deegan is the victim and that's the end of it. Everything can be explained by victimhood. I was a Deegan fan and used to keep up with her father Brian back in his Metal Mulisha days along with some of his Rally Cross. I'm also a Ford fan and was pretty pumped when Deegan went to Ford in '20. ARCA was "okay" and first year in trucks had it's moments but after that feels like it's flatlined and the die hards have retreated to the "Hailie is a victim of circumstance, always" trope. About the "why are mostly dudes commenting about her?". I'm assuming it isn't one reason but I suppose you could ask "why is star wars, gaming, football, or the like social media dominated by men". No clue, but I'm assuming it has something to do with a general male vs female interest in something and the numbers will show it but that's a guess. I think if i go to just about any Nascar channel or social media account, it's mostly dude-names i see.

It's TRUE that you have to have good talent in driving a race car to race in any division successfully. I feel Hallie Deegan has that. We all know in car racing there should be equal amounts of give and take. We're all guilty of the bump and run just to pass another racer and we sometimes accidentally wreck them, I'm just as guilty of both and both have happened to me too. Yes I always tried to apologize to the other drivers. I'm sure Hallie does try to apologize to people for any issues she accidentally caused if it was her fault. She deserves to be respected too.

Kenny, if you want a genuine answer I'll be happy to give you one. In 3.5 years, 3 of those with championship level truck teams, Deegan's results included 0 wins, 0 top 5's and 0 laps led. She averaged 19.3 starting spot and finished on average 21.3. In the Xfinity car her average start was 28.5m finish 26.1. Team was 34th in owner points and in danger of missing races at the road courses. She raced less than 4% of her laps in the top 15. Her last 4 starts in the micro sprint are DNQ, DNQ, 16 out of 20, DNQ. Your nephew Steven averaged an 18.4 start and 20.0 finish in the Xfinity Series, was actually far more competitive, a tremendous Late Model Stock performer, and your brother pulled the plug. Ford buying her rides makes the sport look like bad. She was absolutely NOT in the truck or Xfinity Series based on merit. She was the 2nd worst driver in the truck series and moved up. It's like the 3rd string QB threw 5 interceptions and the team moved him to backup. It appears as if a young girl made a bunch of bad bikini KZbin videos out on Lake Norman and some Ford executive got all worked up and started writing 7-figure development driver checks. She is 23 now, her last 4 micro sprint starts are DNQ, DNQ, Bottom 5, DNQ. Bottom line is that NOBODY wants to see the 5th string QB play in a real game. She has been given far more than enough time, money, and resources and has shown no high level ability to qualify, race in the top 10, or finish in the top 10. She is the Kardashian of stock car racing.

In a good 2 car team Haas, HD will be fine. Yeah in AM ford Logano ran 8th in Chicago. He was also 1 second off the pace of the leaders. That shows AM is junk. Can't wait for HD to silence the haters... but even if she shows up and wins every race they will still not give her credit.

The leader was Van Gisbergen. Deegan was 5 seconds off pace at her last road course race. Turns out the driver was junk, and that is why she is fired. In fact, she raced at Millbridge twice DNQ, and 16 out of 20. Raced at Southern Illinois last night...DNQ. Starting to see a pattern here? Let me help you...cannot compete against amateur racers on the Saturday night level.

Kenny, why don't you do a test with Hailie & possibly put her in your winning 36 JEGS car! Compare lap times to you & her on race night, if she's close to your times then put her in for the race & see how she does then, it could be good publicity for JEGS. Only reason Hass would put her in the 2nd Xfinity car is if Riley Herbst leaves & he takes his family's gas stations Monster sponsorship with him. She can bring a needed sponsor for the 98 Xfinity car.

she can race, and does race, shes racing in a trans am series right now, i dont know why people get so hung up on one thing, in the end shes another driver in a fire suit behind the wheel of a race car... it shouldnt really matter beyond that, shes a lot better driver than bubba wallace, and a lot better than many other drivers who have tried to make it in nascar.

Jake has finished 20th or worse 7 out of 15 races so far this year. That #13 truck team is not anywhere near the level of the #'s 98 & 99.

While this driver has found herself in some difficult situations she will get another opportunity in NASCAR because she is marketable and sponsors are drawn to her. As long as she can bring enough sponsorship money, she will get a ride. This absolutely has nothing to do with the level of talent she brings to the competition. It is only about the driver sponsors relationship and the money she can bring into the team. JMO

Super early, irresponsibly bold prediction if Deegan goes to Haas Factory (assuming two cars): 1.Deegan does great or at least adequate: great! (I'd agree, i hope she does well). 2. Deegan struggles: "Ah! See! Haas sucks. Ever since Tony left they are a shell of their former organization!" 3. Deegan struggles, teammate does well: "Ah! See! Haas sucks [copy/paste], they give everyone else the good cars because they hate women". There simply is no way, if she underperforms, the same victim-of-circumstances excuses won't be used. There's always another several reasons why someone is a victim no matter how much money they rake in and the opportunities they get. Drivers like Kyle Weatherman and Stefan Parsons overachieve in garbo equipment but will never get the same opportunities but they'll make the most of them because they're not victims.
