Kenny, I usually agree, but I think you might have it wrong on this one. They are reducing the number of charters so 2311 and front row can compete as non-chartered teams. There are only two open spots for non-chartered teams right now by reducing it. It gives them an opportunity to race with no charter because they can now add more non-chartered spots on the grid.

Kenny I love your videos. You absolutely crack me up. You are always thinking and giving good information. I wish they would just go racing. So much drama at every race. It usually is NASCAR creating all the issues and drama. I'm not sure on the angle NASCAR is playing dropping chargers. I will say this. It most definitely is for their benefit!! They keep on twisting the owners arms. I feel like the owners, drivers and previous owners and drivers need to setup a owner/drivers association. This would be a platform for drivers concerns, owners concerns. Stand together against the big monopoly that NASCAR has become. Walk outs and boycotting will help bring them down a few notches. Then maybe come to the table with a collective agreement. It bothers me so much to see how this wonderful sport has diminished. I went to school and lived in Mooresville just to try to get a chance to work in the industry. Unfortunately I wasn't able to work for free. I was fresh out of the marine corps with bills to pay. Those that we're fortunate enough to get a gig of some type made poor wages with long hours. Tons of great people in the industry on and off the track. I feel like they all are being controlled by THE MAN. NASCAR makes it very hard for sponsors, owners, drivers and all involved to exist. 💩 rolls down hill. I've gone back to watching the grass roots racing. I don't watch nascar anymore. I do keep up with it in hopes things will get better. Thanks Kenny for what you're and calling it like you see it. I think it's pretty obvious what nascar is doing by reducing the charters. Stewart-Haas owns 4 but they are leaving the business. If you factor out their current charters, that reduces the charter down to 32. That would prevent anybody from expanding their number of teams, including 3211 and front row. They have to leave the number at 32, at least until the court rules on the injunction. After that, who knows, they may reduce it even more.

I enjoyed the days when teams weren't guaranteed to race. Qualify well, get a provisional spot or go home. It was put up or shut up. Back then the field was 43 cars and there were often more entries than spots. It was always interesting to watch qualifying and see who went home for the weekend.

What if the cars being raced had to be the companies most popular selling models with minimal changes except for safety equipment? (Such as a 2025 Toyota Corolla weighing 2,955 lbs. with 169 horsepower running against a Ford Mustang with 270 horsepower that weighs 3,827 lbs.) Stock weight differences would be accounted for after the roll cage and other safety equipment is added. Would it be slower? Hell yeah. And it would be more exciting to watch at the same time. Garrett Mitchell (Cleetus) puts on better shows than NASCAR. Bonus; It would tie what was racing on the track with what was on the showroom floors. No one in the stands thinks his Camaro has anything in common with Alex Bowman's Camaro.

It’s nsacar’s rules . Zero reason why this is going to court. If a team doesn’t like the new agreement then don’t sign it but don’t complain when you’re not able to participate in the sport. This is turning into a mess..Nascar is confussing at times..but I really don't know what is going on behind the scenes..simply because Nascar isn't always forward with their business methods, contract charter process or anything...as a fan we watch the cars race around the track, pit stops and even some ideas of tuning..or other things..Nascar has possibly gotten themsealves into a pickle..these race teams may have felt they were being treated unfairly...this is simply going to take time to reveale the truth of the situation..speculating, assuming or just plain having an idea, only gets the situation out there for everyone to have an opinion..I can guess that as fans of Nascar we won't know the whole story until possibly the end of the year or the new year..this is a sticky situation and I think it's time to sit back to watch the mess unfold

I kind of wonder if NASCAR would get more fans watching if they adopted a heat race format instead of just qualifying for the "main event". Maybe they could even have a B main with 12 cars that the first two would transfer into the main and this B main could be open to non-charter teams to create a way for new teams to develop.
