I’m a warm olive, so the Golden is the INAN for my coloring. I have the OG Gold. I reach into the mattes all the time for even random looks with other palettes. The colors are just at home on me. They are not orange they are truly golden! I don’t NEED the Golden because I have Gold (although it’s old, it still performs well) but I can’t wait to get the updated shimmers. Eyeshadow isn’t dead for me or my 20 year old daughter, but like your daughters, we use it differently. I’m not giving up eyeshadow (or my side part) no matter what the youths are doing. This palette looks GORGEOUS on you!!!!! 🤩

HA HA! I'm not giving up my eyeshadow or my side part! The side part lives on in our house. All 4 of us rock a side part! : ) I love that you have the og gold palette. I wanted it, and nearly purchased it so many times, but I just didn't think I would use the mustard and teal tones. It's so beautiful, but I don't know what to do with yellows and teals. That's ok, because this new Golden palettes is utter perfection in my eyes. Thanks so much for the laugh and for making time to watch today.

Got this palette Friday and I HAVE NOT PUT IT DIWN. STUNNING! And as I am a warm bronzy shadow gal, and this had given me the bling I want. ❤❤❤❤I had the same reaction as you to the shimmer shades. 😂😂😂😂 This look is beautiful on you.

Hi! I did not need it but I took it and I like it. I was afraid that the matte warm browns would pull orange on me, it happens a lot to me as I have a lot of olive in my skin, but only one does it! I am happy. I need a nude and this is all a neutral lover with light skin needs. It would be a plus if they did like Sidney Grace launching light/deep palettes so there is something for everyone.

Love the look you did. You look stunning with those golden tones on. I am still thinking about the I need a nude palette. So far i dont have ND palettes. This one is not for me. Golden tones are not my favorite on myself. And when I want to do a golden look i always have some shades that i can juse from other palettes I own. But i am curious to try ND eyeshadows. Sometimes my excitement overcomes me. I really enjoy sparkly things, and these glitter top coats and metallic finish shadows are exquisite. I know that the brand will continue turning out these midi sized palettes since they seem to be so popular. I know that the neutral palettes sell the best, so the I Need A Nude, Glam and most likely this Golden palette will be on the best seller list. I'm sure you'll find one that you'd find useful and enjoy the color story. I waited a long time to find my "perfect" palette. These neutral ones are exactly what I'm always looking for. When I saw the initial pictures of this palette, I was so uninterested, but, after seeing swatches in various lighting, I am curious. I only have the mini metropolis (I think I’d fall over backwards for a midi metropolis done right) and the I Need a Nude. I’ll probably wait until this goes on sale; I am not in a rush at all. It’s the tones, though, that are pulling me in. Until then, I happily play with what I have! You know, what first pulled me into the KZbin beauty community was looking for videos on how to do eyeshadow for my eye shape. I have a deep hood and what is called an epicanthic fold. Discovering various Asian creators taught me a lot-the placement of eyeshadow really does change everything!

Yes, shadow placement is everything! My eyes are smaller, and slightly close together. It really helps with I use the darker shades on the outer third and blend upward to create the illusion of more space between my eyes. I was also underwhelmed when I saw this initially. I picked it up because I liked both the other neutral palettes so much, and I'm so glad I got this! It's warm, but not orange on me. I love the reflective quality of the shadows, and I love the range of depth the shadows have. Get it on sale if you can; it's totally worth the price tag!

@@thelipstickgal lately I’ve been solely using eyeliner to make my eyes look bigger, and have been foregoing deepening the outer corner, but I happened do it to yesterday and remembered how good it looks! I do have the OG Gold. The new Golden is beautiful. Same quality. I do like the midi size style. I collect ND so this was an easy yes. Biba is one of my all time favorites. It has a great combination of cool and warm shades. These shadows almost blend themselves. Absolutely beautiful look. I still love Metropolis. It has so many color stories. If I don't know what look I want I often pull her out. I did a cut crease and put that molten gold allover my lid.Have an amazing week ❌️⭕️

I have Metropolis too. I always forget that I have it. I wish I used it more because it's such a colorful palette and the textures are stunning. I'm so glad that I picked this up. Hi Rebecca. Thank you for the review and look. Like you, the I Need A Nude was my first ND palette. Then I purchased the Glam Palette. I have no interest in the other palettes as they are just too much color. This release is what I was waiting for to complete the neutrals. It reminds me of the original Naked palette, which was first and only palette until it was discontinued. I finally replaced my last, almost completely used Naked palette with singles from Sydney Grace, and they worked. Based on your impressions, I hope this is everything I expect. Once again, thank you. I look forward to your videos, it is lIke spending time with a friend who likes makeup and has the same aesthetic as me.

I enjoy the color stories of the Yucca, My Dream, Xendo, Bronze, and Retro (ect.) but they're too much for me. I can't believe how lovely this new Golden palette is. It's the perfect fit for me and how I like to wear makeup. I like that it's not as warm as the Bronze palette. It still has beautiful warm and neutral shades, and I'm so impressed with the formulation. I didn't have any fallout at all. This is one of the prettiest looks I've created in a long time. I wasn’t interested in getting it when the pics got leaked but after seeing Jen Phelps review it yesterday i immediately placed my order at Ulta plus I had just received a $15 off coupon I was able to use with free shipping, hope it arrives unbroken. I like these smaller midi size, I was going thru her pallets just yesterday and got rid of the Glam cause even though the color story is beautiful I just can’t wear grey tones, even though I’m a light/medium with olive undertone they just don’t look good on me. I love pinks/mauves and also got rid of the Retro, I just popped out the colors I don’t use all the red undertones, there was a lot of those colors in that pallet plus almost all the shimmers were the ones with those tiny glitters, no matter how I apply them they always wind up on my face. 😢 Love my I Need a Nude and My Dream pallets, those I can use almost all the shades. I have around 6 of her small 5 pans that I love as well. I’m like you I do my eye shadow placement just like you❤

The Retro is too burgundy for me, and has too many deep shades. I need something less saturated. That's why the Glam and the I Need A Nude work so well for me. I haven't watched Jen Phelps review of this, but It time to start watching reviews. I never watch a review of a product I've purchased until I've reviewed it/done a first impressions for myself. I've got a lot of watching to do today! I hope you like this color story, and I'm glad you were able to get it for $15 off! What a steal for a new palette. I hope that the warmer nudes don't pull too orange on you. I liked that I didn't have that problem, but my neutral undertone allow me a lot of leeway when it comes to shades I can pull off. Thanks so much for asking about my health. I had about 6 days of pain relief after getting a trigger point injection from my pain doctor last month. I filmed my Monthly favorites saying that my pain was better, then the next day, it came back. I have an appointment coming up have another injection done, and my doc is going to increase the number of injection sites as well as the strength of the cocktail he uses to numb me. I've got my fingers crossed it will work. If not, I'll be back seeing my neurosurgeon talking about removing the shunt on the right side, and having it placed on the left. I really don't want another brain surgery less than a year from the last one, but . . . I have to remind myself that although there are so many content creators that look lovely in certain shades or palettes, they don't always work for me. I need less color intensity over all. I also don't love looks that are too purple or burgundy because it makes covering my dark circles more difficult.

I finally got an appointment with an ENT on June 18th.
