Nice flight but the takeoff was more like a path in a park than a runway 😂. I did the KORS flight that Navi did in there Sectional YT video. The charts are very informative but can be a bit overwhelming when not used to them. The Navigraph team and Charts App have made some amazing updates for the Fsim community. It’s pretty mad the scenery at the military location if default

Awesome to see you cruising around in my local airspace! Lots of lovely skies to explore here in WA. Also you pronounced Snoqualmie quite well (pronounced "snow-KWAL-mee")! Fantastic video.

Thank you for a very enjoying video! I like it a lot! And to add, the Black square Caravan is one of my absolute favorite planes. I have a lot more hours in this than in the Fenix and the 738 combined. I'm hoping to see more videos like this! Thanks again!

The Black Square Caravan is a very fun and stable plane with excellent views out the window. It’s one of my favorites too!

Superb video again. So much fun. So relieved to hear you also battle a bit with spotting railways. Fall City is also not the easiest of airfields to find and land at. Great job in the end.

Sorry, that me was me speeding accross the runway. I dropped my phone in between the seat and was trying to find it.

Can't tell you how often flying VFR I've experienced similar confirmation bias. It makes VFR a challenge.

Emanuel, I absolutely _loved_ this video; it reminded me of my first daytime cross-country flight and how thrilled I was when checkpoints and landmarks appeared at the specified times written on my flight plan sheet(s) 😊. Oh, the nostalgia! I think this (in my opinion) is one of your most enjoyable videos; it teaches without the viewer _feeling_ that they are being taught. Best of all, it was really fun! Well done, sir, well done!

Curious that I tested the sectional two days ago landing just there at Fall City coming from Orcas Island. At least I soon spotted that small airport because I landed there a few times before.

Love the VFR video. Can you share your flight plan and whAt tools you use to generate it.

Fun video, the immersion is much more satisfying without GPS isn't it! I'm located in Canada just north of the area, Snoqualmie pronunciation is "sno-kwal-mee" as far as I know :)

Dead reckoning is a good skill to have but not to rely on, especially when FAA sectionals are concerned. I don't fly without several GPS' and an ADS-B receiver (especially in South FL).

Hey, are you still using Tobii for your eye tracking? I have one as well but my head movements are no where near as stable as yours seem to be. I’d love to see a video of how you’ve got it setup. You seem to be able to look around the instruments with such ease. While I do like my Tobii for how intuitive it is, I often struggle with keeping my head still so I can manipulate control panels. Thanks.

I think a lot of that is tied to monitor size and distance from the Tobii. There’s a program I’ve seen mentioned for better stability but I have noticed a comment from someone who said it wasn’t working for them in SU13. FaceTrackNior I think it’s called.

I would also see how you have setup your Tobii

I see the elevation was about 170ft before you took off, then you settled at 2000 feet instead of 2170ft? Why is that? Thanks

Are you going to try the updated ToLiss A340 soon?

You already have Skyvector, which is completely focused on America. So navigraph should implement Europe as soon as possible
@A330Driver Жыл бұрын
Well, the USA is one country, one authority of which to buy the data. The EU is a clusterfuck of different authorities, all charging different amounts, all using different chart formats. As a former private pilot in the EU I can tell you flying VFR from one country to another was a nightmare. Ever since I have my IFR I'd only fly IFR anymore between different countries.

Flying East VFR needs to be odd altitude + 500 😅

6 minutes of checks and runup while sitting on the runway, wouldn't suggest doing that in real life, might have some not so happy guys in the pattern :)
