These are the real heroes! the one's our kids and society need to look up too! Damian Jackson the guy in uniform carrying the flag was a former navy seal out of HS and walked onto to Nebraska football team. He was a 3 time Academic all American. This is the role model for our kids! not the brain washing bs celebs or tik tok crap.

Never once have I taken notice of Nebraska football, and do not support the selfish way football has placed politics before the sport, and patriotism, but you give me hope for the future with this video. I will forever remember Nebraska football, and you will now have a special place in my heart. Go Nebraska!!!! Coming to you from California

I vividly remember that horrible day. Nebraska is not my team, but this video is powerful and exactly what we Veterans and Americans need right now - UNITY/RESPECT without political influence, which is exactly how I remember it following the terrorist attack. I truly pray the 3 (as of now) who dislike this video are just not Cornhusker fans. God Bless America

Good old Midwest respect. We understand who the real heroes and role models are. We may not be winning in football a whole lot these past 15 years, but we still have the platform, luckily, to make a video like this, and remind a lot of people of the sacrifices made and who made them. I’m proud to be Nebraskan.

@@reidhunsaker5557 then why do it during the national anthem...pick another venue
@reidhunsaker55572 жыл бұрын
@@susaningle16 literally no athlete has ever publicly disrespected the military. The reason why they're protest is because the ideals that America were founded on - freedom, liberty, and justice for all - have not and a lot of ways today still aren't met for minorities in this country. It's a powerful message that is being communicated in a peaceful, non-violent way. Kneeling in many cultures is a symbol of respect. But boomer conservatives love to play victim even though they're raised on the utmost privilege in this country. If we don't acknowledge the ugly parts of our history, we will never move forward as a UNITED states.
@reidhunsaker55572 жыл бұрын
@@erice5115 it's sad you're so emotionally attached to a piece of cloth. Maybe do a little research and understand the reason why they're protesting instead of conveniently aligning it with your biased opinion.

This is America. The heart of America. I remember 20 years ago. This is how America stands tall together. Thank you for making this video. Thank you for your service, for remembering those who serve, who sacrificed for our freedom and for those who want to keep our freedom alive. This is America UNITED. Don't believe the noise from the elites - the American people are who count - and we need to speak up, speak loud and let our voices become loud and strong for what our country is. We are strong and proud and the best country for freedom and opportunity. Those who don't believe that, please leave and go wherever you think you'll find it better - don't change our America. God Bless America.
