The first time I played Athena, I ulted onto a Ymir wall and the entire map disappeared. Had to leave the lobby and rejoin to fix it lol

Had the pleasure to play Anhur yesterday. He feels dope. But the movement or camera feels as if the characters are floating, compared to Smite 1. The death/fade animation looks cool, blasted a Cernunnos with Anubis ult and he became dust lmao.

I honestly like the ideas of certain roles getting more exp/gold than others. Makes certain roles feel more impactful in different points of the game. Right now it rewards aggressive ganks and rotations from solo to use their exp lead and then when late game roles around the farming damage roles take over in teamfights. Supports exist to provide peel and cc for fights so the other roles can do their job. I hope they keep this balancing philosophy so we don't get another smite 1 situation where everyone just farms until 20.

Honestly, as some one who’s played a lot of Smite 1 support, I can’t STAND having too many button inputs. Having actives on Q and E is fine, but if it becomes standard for supports to have 4 or 5 actives I probably won’t play much support

I loved the visability of Smite due to the lower detailed graphics now it feels like everything is dark and the shadows make visability god awful

I will die on the hill that the “God of Wisdom” which is always saying she’s tactical and stuff meanwhile she wears heels to war is ironically funny I mean granted they’re probably enchanted or some shit and as a goddess Athena likely has a unnatural ability to not break her ankles with every step but I don’t care how you slice it heels are not wartime killing attire

They did not "only update the graphics" It's literally a complete rebuilding of the entire game's code and fundamental gameplay from the ground up, in a brand new Engine that is 20 years newer than current smite. Also, this is literally a CLOSED ALPHA playtest. It's the literal earliest possible build of the game that they could give to people to play, and only to a handful of people. Yet people seem to think the game is close to being complete? They didn't even have ward models yet, or emotes. 90% of every image is a placehoder. The only thing available is the absolute CORE gameplay, 1 game mode, and 14 gods out of 131... Wish people would stop hating just because they're ignorant

@@ImmortalMarshmallow i know they "rebuild the entire game" . they use different engine. I'm talking about gaming experience. Smite S11 already great. They could have use that. The map and camps etc. It's perfect. They have should use that map and rebuild the game on that basics. It doesn't matter if it's a beta or alpha version. They use this map at least 1 season. They've already builded and won't change until season 2.

Got Ulted by Fenrir while Ulting a Zeus. Which locked my ability to use autos, abilities, or even interact with anything in the store and on the map. Could only access VGS, but I couldn't tell my team why I couldn't help them because there's no text chat. They thought I was trolling them the rest of the game 🥲
