Hey guys, today I will be showing you the New NERF N-Strike Elite Firestrike 2.0. It claims to get up to 90ft as compared to the old one that shot 75. Today I will take that to the test and compare the differences between the two. I hope you enjoy :)

I pulled my (original Elite blue) firestrike apart to check out the internals, and after putting it back together I noticed a big performance boost. I didn't add, remove, or replace anything at all. I think I may have put the spring back in incorrectly, and that somehow improved the performance. I'm pretty stoked about it, actually. I modded my firestrike without knowing that I had.

The dart also sits further forward in the barrel. I guess the air restrictor was pushed forward by the extra tension on the spring.

Wow, hasbro has really improved. An un modded long shot shot 20-30 ft, and these tiny little pistols are shooting way further

I have about 3 nerf guns stocked up, just a beginner here. I have a Firestrike, and it totally met expectations. 90ft, lightbeam aiming, high-power firing and all. I've only fought an actual battle once with the Firestrike though....

Though the colour of the normal firestrike is better but the range, accuracy, and power of firestrike elite is better

An AR removal, K26 spring, padding for the plunger head because of that spring, plugged up airholes, a super bright LED, and maybe a thin brass pipe in the barrel would be my personal Firestrike.

Surely (if you've already got a Firestrike) you'd be better off (and probably cheaper) replacing the spring in your old one rather than buying a whole new one? With a spring replacement, both versions will perform the same (and both will perform better than either stock version).

I definitely recommend that you get the stryfe. It comes with a barrel and stock attachment and the rayvens bullpup design is cool in all but if you were to mod it I am sure the internals would be harder to work with. The stryfe is more customizable/could be more tacti"cool". I modded my stryfe and it was easy as that👏.

I can see the issue where zombie strike darts are loaded into the normal firestrike the dart pumps out

the little part of the handle by the batteries is to cook the firestrike it is a tiny triangle, if you have 2 firestrikes you can cook it with that tiny triangle .

Coz the spring is new in the 2.0, it goes further . And the lazers do not look the same (see them closely ). One of them has a kinda point on it .

I have the nite finder which is like the n strike version of the firestrike, it is so much more bulkier and its laser is so wobblely. It was my first blaster and thats why i have not gotten rid of it.

You should really be using a chronograph in order to test the velocity that these shoot at. there are far too many variables when you're simply seeing how far each shoots
