I’m going to be 17 weeks pregnant Monday and I found out I’m having a boy!! They told me on the phone asked if I wanted to know because I got prenatal tests done and through my blood they were able to tell! It’s insane how much information they can gather about your baby just with blood tests! I’ve been watching videos like these I find them calming actually when I feel scared or overwhelmed so thanks for vids like these ❤️🙏🏻 Wish me luck and I’ll wish all the other moms luck as well btw if your pregnant currently too yes your already a mother not an expecting mother to me you are a mom! Unborn babies are still very much your child haha

💞 Aww...Zachary is so adorable. You're a great mom to all of you boys. Beautiful family 💙 Great advice regarding the right way to adjust the seat belts. A friend of mine was in a bad car accident with her 5 kids. Her husband always made sure to keep the seat belts close fitting. Thank goodness all the children are fine. 🥰

I love your hair in a high pony tail. Zach is busy being adorable again. LOL. You are so right about tummy time. They can be on your chest or, if they are on a flat surface, they need things in front of them that are making sounds or highly contrasted colors or a mirror or someone in the family on their belly talking to the baby or a screen with moving images because the point is for them to keep lifting their heads and strengthening the neck and back muscles. Only a person or thing near their faces commanding their attention will encourage them to lift their heads to check out what's going on. Soon they love being on their belly because they are starting to figure out if they could just move enough to get to that dangling toy or mirror or talking screen they could work magic. So tummy time is by then an enticement to locomotion. They are going to roll or crawl to what they want to reach, manipulate. Important carseat tips.

I'm so glad you spoke about car seat safety. I work in a nursery and I cannot walk through the car park during drop off or pick up time because of the amount of coats in car seats, it stresses me out to no end. Unfortunately, we're not allowed to give that advice beyond a leaflet.

Totally!! And I always see people online showing their kids not buckled correctly etc in their car seats and it totally stresses me out!

My baby is now 42. He had to be bottle fed, and needed to be fed every 2 hours overnight. He was an awful sleeper. He still is. Now he has 2 little ones, and I have done their childcare since they were 12 weeks. Both got only breast milk. My grandson ate well, but did have trouble falling asleep. He never took long naps, and gave them up at age 2. Now when he sleeps over, he’s 6, he sleeps 9-10 hours. His sister, on the other hand, was like her dad as a newborn. She, too is very hard to get to sleep and she’s a very busy 4 year old. Gave up naps before age 2. She’s the first one up every day. We had a sleepover last night, and she was wide awake at 6, having fallen asleep at 10! So I think genetics are at play here. If you have had 3 who were easy to get on a schedule, and sleep well, my guess is that you and your husband were reasonably good babies in that area. So ladies, don’t get discouraged if your babies don’t fall into this good of a schedule. When your baby is a teenager I guarantee he or she will sleep late every morning.

For sure and my first baby didn’t sleep at all at first and I really really remember how hard that was!

I’d love to see a video on growing up Jewish from your perspective. Maybe including being from a home with South African parents (I’m bias to this because I am South African haha) I was so excited to hear that your parents are from South Africa too!

Zach is so adorable. Congratulations sis 🤗🤗❤️ I have 7 week old ☺️How much milk does Zach feed per bottle?
@MyJewishMommyLife3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! He mostly nurses and I use a bottle here and there in the late evening if he's cluster feeding so I would say he does a 4 ounce bottle at that time.

My daughter started her own schedule for sheep when she was around 3 months old. She would start fussing and she wouldn’t fuss for no reason. She was tired and she began sucking her fingers to sleep. All 3 of my babies would not take the pacifier. I guess I was that.
