Why doe nobody understand that technology costs money elderly people in their 80 s often have NO technology except a landline. They cannot afford wifi and devices. . If they have a mobile it will not be a smart phone. They cannot use or understand how to put apps on a device. I got my 88 year old aunt an iPad. She can just about read and answer an email....... but has no printer... can't copy, cut, paste, or edit text.without just backspacing all the way back to the error and typing it all again. Every single app is different to every other app... elderly people are generally unable to remember what is where on different apps. Their memory cannot cope with that diversity.
