Pleaze answer, I've been into nidalee recently, I like buildingrod of ages, since you have a lot of sustained dmg, if you get some survivability you can dish out a lot of dmg, and secondly I've also been dominating my lanes with like 3/0, but when the teamfights and late game started I kinda lost for my team. What should I do?

in video settings there's a benchmark option for framerate cap. if you uncheck "wait for vertical sync" and have that selection your framerate will skyrocket.

I don´t know if u know it but Javellin is on the range from you and you opponent not the max of the showed line from javellin. Try it out with flashing out

While it is true the term elo was originally created for chess, it has been adapted for multiplayer games for some time now so is easily the most appropriate skill comparison available

No the damage modifier is based on how far Nidalee is from the javelin at the time it damages, meaning if you throw it and run/flash/leap away it does more damage up to a cap. Most people think it is based on the distance traveled but Riot has yet to fix this, if they ever intend to at all.

The weird thing is though, and I don't really know why, cause I didn't sign up or ask for it, but I had the new KZbin layout like 2 weeks before everyone started complaining about it. So, for me, it was actually at the bottom. Again, not sure why it was that way, but it was.

Hey there, i just wanted to point out my opinion about ap-ad nida and which is better. To start with AP nida can use spear, heal prolly and then go into cougar form and jump on enemies, staying behind just to poke with spears will prolly make ur team lose the teamfight since the landrate on ur spear wont be 100% sure and theres cooldown. While AD-bruiser nida can jump into the fight with both her forms and bring alot of dam.

does anyone know why my UI doesn't show? e.g: the shop (i only see the name of the items and prices nothing else there is no window or model for the shop), Options Menu(again i don't see a window or something like that) it's hard to change options or buy something but i got used to the shop so it isn't a big problem..

Elo is originally from Chess, yes. But it got reworked for team games like football, LoL and many others.

One is not ready to play ranked as soon as they play the game, which i believe is a possibility of your statement. Though i do believe that you're right on the part that one should not wait too long, as people might overrate ranked matches.

AP Nidalee has one (AT MAX) 575 + 1.65*AP ratio ability, and it's a skillshot. Not to mention it can be countered completely using a gap closer since it won't do nearly as much damage at close range. That, and if you hit at long range you'll be out of position to finish them off, although it can bully in lane. That's why AP is better support, so someone can finish them when you hit from long range. That and her heal/AS bonus.

Matchmaking range effectively is the same as ELO. The system, although coming from chess, has been adjusted in its formulas for multiplayer gameplay and you can see that it is accurate if you examine ELO gain and loss for frequent players. The good ones climb up inevitably. If they don't, they may be individually skilled, but that is not necessarily a testimony for their ability to play effectively in a 5man team. Only if you are skilled and cooperative with teammates you will gain ELO.

I like to get rod of ages, lich bane, rabadones death cap, cd reduction boots. rest depending on enemy build. But I have LOVED AP Nidalee, her heals are way up there and her spear damage can deal a lot of dmg and her cat form does better simply off just leveling the skill up. Atleast thats been my take on her, she is my favorit champion at this time along with Shyvana.

You should add Veigar's ult to that list. His ult uses his massive amount of AP and also uses 80% of the other champs AP as well. He one shots most AP champs and does a large chunk of damage to tanky champs health.

I believe there is an option for setting the max cap for fps, which is usually set at 60, but can be changed. 60 fps should be enough though, i don't believe that humans can percieve much more frames per second than 60 of them.

Actually DotA tower agro is much more aggressive than LoL towers. DotA towers will attack you when your next to it attack it with minions if there are enemy minions around. Which means you need to clear the enemy minions before even attacking the DotA tower.

Elo was invented for chess, but the elo system in multi-player games have been adjusted to fit for multi-player games. This is not only in league of legends, but to other games aswell

I've gotten into Nidalee again since the graphic update and my opinion of AP vs AD is this... As single target Magic damage goes Malzahar is perhaps the most infamous for his Ultimate. It has an AP ratio of 130%. At max range, Nidalee's spear has an AP ratio of 162.5%, 'nuff said. And as for the durability and farming bits, items like Rylais and RoA give plenty of health while boosting your heal as well. Not to mention a pounce swipe clears most of a minion wave with AP Nidalee.

A comment about ELO, yes it comes from Chess, but it has been adjusted for teamgames, including but not limited to basketball, baseball, league of legend. So ELO is a good way to measure "skill".

One thing I do not agree with from what you talked about is something discussed in a video on youtube. The elo system WAS derived from chess, but was changed to make it able to be used in many other sports as well as team oriented video games. Also you may not be able to 1v5, but if you do well, chances are you will win. You get fed, and then help the team, they get fed, and you win. Most games you go positive for example you win. You aren't really correct about elo being wrong in lol. Even though its a 5v5 game instead of a 1v1 like chess you still have two teams. The average elo of your team and the enemy team will most likely be whats used. So it doesn't matter that there are more players when there are only two teams. Also if I was designing a matchmaking system for ranked I'd try to keep the individual elo values close when matching players so one person on the team isn't influencing the average by a lot.

It's probably been said a lot already, but the concept of ELO comes from chess but it has been adjusted to balance a 5v5 system for League of Legends and similar games. You calling it a matchmaking range doesn't change the fact that that is based on ELO, even for normal games. In normal games it's just invisible.

On a low/mid elo (up to 1600 prolly) ap nida is better since it depends on ur enemies ability to realise u r the highest threat to them and focus u, but on higher elo players do realise that fast enough so they go for u. And there s where ad bruiser nida shines she goes in she sustains and deals more damage than she would if she was ap. My opinion~ Nc vid btw looking forward to this patch :D

you are wrong nidalees jav gains damage depending how long the jav has traveled, techincally making it distance traveled since you need distance for it to be flying to gain more damage.

Some ppl dislike to use snowball items like mejais even though they are doing well... In an even match, you can dominate yes, but if you then buy a mejais you are just making yourself a target, even more so... Anyways this could also be used as a tactic I guess, but that wouldn't be something I would do - that's not to say that it isn't a valid idea :)

ap galio with full ap rune page as a support. is the best poke ever. his skill shot goes threw minions and does massive damage at level one. combine him with an adc like ashe or ezreal. that will give u some major poke
