This is a Really good Review , you don’t just talk about it’s deterioration like I see in a lot of shoe reviews , but you talk about it’s performance points , like it’s grip and tread . You also talk about how it’s deterioration over time periods will affect and change its performance as the shoe does disintegrate. Very much Appreciate this , I’m Subscribing fosho

The insole is definitely removable without damaging the shoe in any way. There’s sticker like adhesive holding the insole in but you can remove it with relative ease and I do not recommend putting an insole on top of the pre-existing one.
@Damoforce3 жыл бұрын
I could not get anything out with ease. I'll have a look again, but if it's stuck down as I remember, there's glue on there for a reason - not to be removed haha

How have the AJ1s been going? I want to skate a set, but the leather worries me
@harryhuigsloot93922 жыл бұрын
I skated them for about 3 months and the sole did wear but not as fast, and my feet did sweat heaps. They might just fit me real well but or maybe I like the stiffer shoe. I only started to feel the impact of hitting the ground once I got those bubbles your talking about. I could just be real light in my feet. I really rate them other than the sole wearing like you mentioned. I went ahead and bought a second pair

Thanks for your feedback on the shoes. Love it! I would almost get another pair too, I think these are better than the Ishod.

Do you think adding an insole would have made a difference for the comfort of the shoe?

If you're wanting to jump down some gaps, drops and ect - yeah it will. Flatground it's still fairly comfy.

My blue and pink pairs finally arrived today. I've worn them around the house for a couple minutes (maybe 100 steps) and just sitting watching tv. I can tell you sitting here my feet are sore. You weren't kidding. I'm not moving around. Just sitting here with my feet on the ground and they are sore. I checked the insole. It's not terrible thin and it's pretty spongy, and wow. Still sore. I'll see how it goes after a a few days of walking around the house. The look great. But if they hurt this much I might return them both and buy another invincible run zoom x. They are $180 usd but super comfy.

They will take a little time to break in for everyday use. The Zoom X is totally different shoe i guess. Depends what you want them for ☺

@@sinkincones8130 I've returned them both. I returned the pink first and kept the blue. But then I bought some other sneakers and couldn't think of when I would wear them again. I wore the blue pair out for 1 day. My feet were killing me for days after. Just not worth it. The materials were very nice. Thr fabric part looked a little cheap but is padded nicely. The suede was amazing compared to other nikes. At the end of the day they were just too uncomfortable to reasonable keep just to look at. They look great but make your feet hurt just sitting on the couch wearing them haha.

If your going to do a shoe review or any review. You should probably show yourself using the shoe or that product. Not only does it show the viewer that your actually using them, but it also shows the viewer your ability in what you are doing which is a big factor. Also a shoe that is skated on fresh decks/griptape is going to wear out quicker then older boards and older griptape. Just something to keep in mind when speaking on products. The more detail and honesty you can give the better your going to come off to the viewer.
@Damoforce3 жыл бұрын
I see what you mean 🙂 The b roll shows that they are used and the high wear areas. Ability doesn't effect how a shoe will wear imo. If you're pro or just starting it should act the same 🥰
@dexterkernich-drew66933 жыл бұрын
@@Damoforce someone who can already do a certain trick might not wear through a shoe in certain areas compared to a beginner or someone who is trying to learn a specific trick and is just working on that specific trick for weeks. Not saying it won’t/ shouldn’t act the same regardless of experience, but the user of a product will dictate the way in which it wears out.

Awesome review! A question from a concerned American viewer however, have you noticed if these shoes have been picked up in hype beast sneakerhead culture in the places they are currently released such as where you live? I’d really love to skate these but I’m always afraid to get attached to wanting a pair of nikes because of the sneaker heads, dunks being the main subject in particular.
@Damoforce3 жыл бұрын
I don't think they'll get picked up by hypebeasts. There are not many colourways and 0 collabs at this point. And worst case, if it does, maybe it'll bring down the dunk market
@XavierV373 жыл бұрын
This will be a general release shoe so most likely they might have some sellouts as nikes figure out how many to make but stores like Zummies and PacSun will have them in store like non-hyped Nike SBs
@PHeMoX3 жыл бұрын
@@XavierV37 Nah, I don't know about that. These shoes are constantly sold out on Nike's website. Probably _because_ they have that cheaper Dunk feel to them. Even for non-skaters.
