Ive recently test drove Ioniq 5, EV6, MG ZS, MG5, Lexus UX300e, Citroen C5x and the Ariya, the Ariya hits the spot with space, looks, drive, tech, interior quality all of the others fell by the wayside in one way or another. I have chosen it as my next company car, expecting delivery November 2022

Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of test driving Ariya, EV6, and Ioniq 5 just to compare. Given that I'm a long-term Infiniti vehicle owner, I most likely would go for Ariya.

5:47 The ARIYA is striking in black. Such a beautiful car, to my mind the only one challenging Model Y for design perfection, maybe better for being more unique.

Having owned the Leaf and loved it despite its limits, I'm happy to see Nissan finally taking the next step to create a state-of-the-art BESUV. I'm hoping it gets enough breathing room to thrive with that Model Y elephant in the room.

I have a Nissan leaf and it gives me a 230 miles on full charge. Nissan is the dark horse of EV because of their experience with EV’s. Expect to see it take over Model Y.

Went for a test drive in an Ariya a week or so ago. Superb driving position and the cabin is very quiet. Interior is stunning. Vehicle has immense presence, in particular in gunmetal grey, black or the copper colour Nissan use in most promotional material. Has to be seen and driven. Only criticism (I'm a UX designer), are the haptic touch controls for driving mode, that require taking your eyes off the road to operate. I had a 2018 Leaf (superb) and the drive mode and e-Pedal controls were mechanical and easy to operate 'blind'. Likewise, the HVAC controls on the Ariya look nice, but be better if when you made an adjustment to the heat or fan speed, that the readout was right above or inside the dial, like on the new Range Rovers and some other non EV where the dial has a digital readout in the centre. I'm nit picking, but these are important issues for driver safety if the car is not using Propilot that will keep you in lane if you do get distracted. Hope Nissan sort this out on the next revision, as studies have shown that touch operation of features you are likely to use a few times when driving should be mechanical. Touch screen should be for infotainment and occasional Settings adjustment only. (This applies to all auto manufacturers, not just Nissan!) :) Either way, we're just deciding which EV to get next. Ariya is very enticing! Hmm...

I have been told it drives like as if it would be an electric Murano. I was hearing the inside space is like the Murano. Outside size is similar to the European X-Trail, or the American Rogue. I ordered and left the deposit for the Ariya Platinum AWD e-4ORCE/Performance w-Extended range and Nappa leather interior. Presently I am driving a 2022 Pathfinder AWD Platinum. We have very severe winters with a lot of snow where I live. I will be keeping the Pathfinder and using the Ariya mostly for local commutes within a few hundred miles range.

Nice video!!! I have been waiting for this. I owned a Nissan leaf before and feeling in love with electric, does it happen to make the back up sound? Whenever you are reversing like the leaf models , and does it have a welcome sound whenever you start it up?
@ArburyGroup2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! The ARIYA does have reversing sound - it's now law on all new vehicles that can run on electric only. We've also double checked with the team for you and it does make a welcome sound when you power the car, but you can't choose from a few sounds like you can in the LEAF, there's just one fixed sound with this model.

Is it possible to switch off the DRL ? and how to disconnect the reverse chime from the inside and outside ?

Neither of these can be done because both are now a legal requirement in the UK. You used to be able to turn off the external noise on the Leaf but the latest Leaf has now lost the button to turn it off.

Am I not correct in saying that it isn’t ProPilot 2.0 but ProPilot 1.5 with Navi link? 2.0 only appear to be in America and Japan with the telltale being the double and not singular shark fin antenna.
@ArburyGroup2 жыл бұрын
The reason why the UK website doesn’t mention pro-pilot 2.0 is that 2.0 is a hands-off single-lane driving system, you don’t have to touch the wheel, this law is okay in the USA, etc but for the UK and Europe this hasn’t been passed. Therefore, you're required to keep your hand on the wheel just in case even though the car is steering for you. Sensors in the wheel will make sure you have contact with it and if not, will sound a warning.
@BadWayCafe2 жыл бұрын
@@ArburyGroup so the reviewer is incorrect with his statement of 2.0 as standard across all models?
@ArburyGroup2 жыл бұрын
For the UK market, it's Pro Pilot 2.0 - they can only upgrade in accordance with market regulations and as yet, there's no sign of hands-off driving being allowed.
@BadWayCafe2 жыл бұрын
@@ArburyGroup so you’re stating that if I bought a Ariya from yourselves it would come with ProPilot 2.0 and would not be 1.5 with Navi Link? It would have the twin shark fins?
@ArburyGroup2 жыл бұрын
Until the functionality is legal in the UK, the 2.0 version you're referring to isn't available. The UK version of 2.0 is a pro pilot with a Navi link.

The range estimators on Advance are 250 miles and Evolve is 310 miles. These are quoted all over Nissan's website.

@@ArburyGroup that I know - my question was in regards to the range estimation "program/tool", showed in your video. It seems to be similar to the Leaf tool, where you can enter certain parameters such as speed, load, temperature etc.
